There a bit slow sometimes, to get my car in to access damage, can't comment on quality of repair, but will do a full review when it's done.As I said I would do a review when my car was done. They had my car for a month the repair they did was great, now the sticking point, they did tell me that they had started work on it, but I had to go down to them to pick up my wallet much ( appreciated,) but they hadn't started work on it because it was still in the same place I had left it, the next thing was they told me they were waiting for parts, I tried to phone them it took 40 mins to get through, then I phoned again in for weeks again they said they was waiting for another part, by this time I wasn't very happy at all, but they did Finnish it and did a good job. I gave them 4 stars but that was for the body shop guy's, I could go on but this review would turn into a book, so bottom line is a good repair but not a happy customer in other ways.

Keep well away from this outfit had to use them due to insurance but definitely not recommend to anyone the standard of workmanship was acceptable apart from that everything else was abysmal worst customer services I have ever come across. My car was released without all the agreed works being carried out, had to sort out the car being returned to have the missed works carried out myself. Not kept informed of the status of the work ( I had to call every time) as I stated at the beginning keep well away from this company.

Had a scratched bumper by a hit and run. My insurer booked in my car to Alton and as it was still drivable I was able to drop my car off once they could fit in the work. Once I handed over the car the work was fixed overnight with simple friendly service. Painless and worry free! They even wash and clean the car for me which was unnecessary but highly appreciated! 1105

This is worst company, never pick up the phone, never update you as what is happening when they say the will contact you in a few days now been over two weeks no customer service, would never use tgem again

Great overall communication, updated frequently, quality work, reasonably fast turnaround considering the current car part delays. Very happy with the result. 509

Superb service following a recent No-fault shunt. My insurance company told me it would be Alton cars who came to recover my vehicle. Estimates were quick and insurance company agreed and the work was carried out smoothly. As an extra point the engineers informed me of a small oil leak which had nothing to with the accident but they had noticed it when it was in the shop. Great advice and would definitely recommend to anyone. 911

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!AVOID AT ALL COST!!Absolutely useless been messed around for nearly 2 months and now these liars told enterprise my car had been fixed?? which it hadn’t and that they have done the work on my car so I went and picked my car up to find they had not done anything to it apart from cleaned the car messed about with everything inside and had messed with the trip mileage??? I wonder why???Dodgey as they come will be seeking legal advice to have to company shut down as they are nothing but dirty scammers, if your insurance says to send it here tell them NO avoid at all costs as you may have same problem now I’m in a long battle with my insurer to sort this problem out cheers Alton cars

Have visited Alton Cars a few time for vehicle body checks and repairs.Easy access from A6109 in Sheffield and parking easily available.Always have been impressed by accomodating and friendly staff, with quick service and assessments. Have always checked personal items left in vehicle and once let me return to car to pick up belongings that I missed.Well recommend for private repairs or if offered as supplier by insurer.

I can not vouch for their repair standards because my vehicle was written off. To be honest, I am fairly happy with that.
