Jonny Oil Man

Con man. Avoid at all cost. We had work done by Jonny and at first found him approachable and he seemed trustworthy. We were charged £8000 for a new boiler, hot water cylinder and to fit a shower and towel radiator. We had to call him back out twice to fix issues with his work. The first time he came out he was friendly but the second time he had an attitude and charged us fo two valves he fitted (we have since found out these shouldn’t of been fitted). We had Jonny out a year latter for the first service that he said would be free when we had the boiler fitted but that turned out to be a lie (charged us)and when we questioned this he said unless we had it in writing there was nothing we could do. We have since had another plumber out to fix issues with Jonny’s work and have found out that we were charged twice the amount we should of been and that the flu from the boiler was fitted in the wrong position (to close to the oil tank) and was illegal and that the oil shut off valve was also in the wrong place( sited next to the boiler and not outside). So to sum up we were charged twice as much for a rubbish job that wasn’t even legally useable. Would of given a no star review but this wasn’t possible.

Have just had an oiltank moved and replaced by Jonny Oilman. We found him to be very pleasant and reliable. He turned up when he said he would and the price was reasonable too. Would have no hesitation in reccomending him.

We chose Jonny oil man in the first place because his phone was always answered courteously or he returned the calls promptly . His quote was competitive (we had several). His work was first rate. We had a complete system installed and Jonny always turned up exactly as arranged. His team worked professionally and efficiently and kept us fully informed about their progress. We now have a warm home with well hidden pipework. I would personally recommend Jonny Oil Man to anyone.

Great service turned up on time did the work quick and efficient. Would use again with no hesitation. Everyone else I rang was a no show or just didn't get back at all. Running my own business and understanding that not all customers are the same I couldn't speak more highly of Jonny and his team.

Friendly chap, came quickly and on time. Identified the problem immediately and repaired the boiler quickly and at a fair price. I’m happy to recommend Jonny, and will use him again when needed.
