Unpleasant shopping experience. Paula, the owner can’t do enough for you to get your money but once she has, be warned, she shows a very different side. She’s rude, unprofessional, inflexible and becomes very unreasonable. She’s not in the least bit interested in brides and their personal circumstances. Her only interested is lining her own pocket. If you want a genuine, stress free and pleasant shopping experience, I would avoid this place at all costs.

I bought my dress from Paula at Poppy Bridal and I can’t thank her enough . From the first day I popped in for some advice to walking out with my dress the day before my wedding. Paula was always very helpful and also gave lots of advice on wedding etiquette too. Fitting by Kim was done at the shop and she also gave lots of advice. I would definitely recommend paying a visit if you are looking for a wedding dress.

Amazing customer service at Poppy Bridal today. I’ve picked my dream wedding dress with the amazing help at Poppy Bridal. So accommodating, helpful and not at all pushy. Me and my family felt supported and relaxed during our appointment. The choice of dresses and styles was excellent! I would absolutely recommend this store to any future bride!

Perfect service and a dreamy setting. I got my wedding dress from here and Paula could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She made me feel at home immediately. The selection of dresses, veils and hair vines are amazing and my experience was a very special one. Once I'd chosen my dress, my bride to be also chose her dress from here and had an equally lovely experience - Paula even hid the dress that I had chosen so we did not pick the same one! We then went on to order bridesmaid dress and ties/pocket squares from here and every order went smoothly. The seamstress was amazing and Paula genuinely cared about us and our special day. We could not recommend this shop enough for any bride to be.

Amazing experience!! Paula was so attentive and made the whole experience personal and magical! No pressure at all. My little sister said yes to the dress, tears all around ! Would highly recommend this establishment to all. Thank you so much again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A really bad experience for my daughter who had gathered family and friends from all over the country to see her try on wedding dresses. What should have been a lovely time was over shadowed by the incompetence of this company and their manners. Not only did the dresses not turn up despite my daughter spending £42 extra courier costs, but Poppy Bride tried to avoid their responsibility for the mistake - and implied that she was planning to sell them! Outrageous! What a way to treat a Bride to Be. Terrible customer service. I also notice on these reviews, that Poppy Bride reply to the good reviews, but don't seem able to apologise and make comments on the many bad reviews. Seems to sum up their attitude to clients.

Had a wonderful experience at Poppy Bridal earlier in June with my family. This was my first bridal appointment so I was unsure what to expect or what to try on but they were friendly and polite and I really appreciated the experience of the staff to guide me in selecting options that suited both my body shape and my style. I cannot comment on ordering/purchasing a dress from Poppy's as I haven't finished dress shopping yet but I would highly recommend them for dress shopping based on my experience. Thank you!

I couldn't recommend Poppy's enough.We went in on a whim a couple of weeks ago and found my wedding dress.It was a discontinued line so I had to pick the one in the shop or risk losing it.They were happy to put it to one side for me giving me time to decide (I'd only just started looking).I didn't feel any pressure and the team were so friendly. I went back the next day to buy it.

Absolutely amazing! I live over 250 miles away and had a wedding dress disaster after being let down last minute by a seamstress making my dress. After searching 100s of websites I found a rare Maggie Sottero sample dress on sale at Poppy Bridal. I called and Paula could do enough to help. With second lockdown fast approaching she helped arrange for her recommended seamstress to make a couple of alterations, she went out of her way to deliver and then collect the dress to and from the seamstress and then post it to me safe and sound. Each step of the way she sent me photos and provided me with updates.Cannot thank Paula enough for all her help!

Poppy Bridal were so friendly and welcoming, made my whole experience special. And were so helpful in finding my perfect dress for my wedding day! Highly recommend! Xx
