Actually had concrete in stock which was fantastic as at the moment it's like gold dust. Only a few pence more expensive than B&Q but they never have it available lately. Snapped up 14 bags so I can finally get my fence sorted. No 5 bag limit here so 5*

The shop floor staff aren't always very helpful. Some seem out to get in customers' way. I get that some customers can be annoying but you dont have to take it out on all of us. They do have good stock levels though and are usually my first port of call, although timber prices have just shot through the roof. Edit. Still the same. Usually best place for hardware and staff still scowl!

Home delivery is disgusting I ordered a 6x4 shed to be delivered today 1/2/23 it was delivered by a little man on his own and asked my husband who has COPD and other issues to help him Which he tried to and is now very poorly How do Wicks expect a 2 man delivery and only send 1 man Just Hope it’s not damaged as the packaging was all damaged on receipt I’m not happy at all We’re both 76 years old and not into delivery shams I had to get someone to get it in for me See photos of state of packaging

It's basically a builders merchants on a large scale with items that can be used by people doing D I Y . Prices are quite good and competitive, staff seem quite helpful and knowledgeable , it was not too busy as I visited during lockdown , online ordering is easy.

Hate this shop...... Always leave with a empty wallet and full car, only up side is decent price for decent goods, and no quibble if I'm not happy. The free sandwiches and coffee pass muster too,, BUT come on guys where are the cakes?!!!!?!!!??

Just like to say a big thank you to Lisa who helped us with our laminate flooring measurements and helping us load everything up. We would still be there scratching our heads without her help. Lisa's professionalism was 2nd too non at the Rotherham store. Thank you Lisa.

Kitchen design service is terrible nearly a year since ordering and still have issues with poor finishing on cupboards and appliances that are faulty which have not been resolved. Shop staff do not want to know once you have purchased and tell you to deal with customer services who are even worse. Every delivery had something damaged on it. Absolutely shocking service if I could send it all back I would. Complete rip off with the price it cost and service given would advise anyone to avoid.
