Richmond Prestige Hand Car Wash

I chose this valet service to the good reviews but, unfortunately, it’s been a very disappointing experience mainly because my car was poorly cleaned. I purchased a £65 valet and was told to return in 2 hours. Actually the total cost was £76.85 as it’s located inside the NCP car park, so I had to pay £11.85 on exitWhen collecting the car, it looked ok in the gloomy light of the NCP underground car park. However when I inspected the car in daylight, I noticed the interior carpets were still dirty at the corners the seat crevices weren't vacuumed, neither were the door pockets. I took the car back, which cost another £3.85 for the NCP parking charge. The owner re-vacuumed the car but refused to refund the parking fee.I felt even more disappointed when I later discovered that the outside of the car was not cleaned properly. There was moss in the crevice of the brake light and mud & leaves under the boot lid (see photos).For the job they did, I could have gone to the car wash at Sainsburys and saved myself £40 (if you include the NCP fees).

Best car wash in the area. Even buffered out some scratches on my head lights.Great service.

Excellent service. The owner pointed out a key scratch in the paintwork that I hadn't noticed when it was dirty & tried to buff it out for me. He was also very helpful with advice on how to get in/ out/ best pay for the car park. My dirty little Fiat looked new again, and for a decent price!

Terrific car wash, polish and interior clean by Fitin and his colleague. Our mustang convertible was gleaming by the time they finished with it. Really happy with their friendliness and attention to detail. Will definitely go back.

The best car wash I’ve been able to find around Richmond & Kingston. Firstly, the man and the lady working here are very friendly and personal, which you don’t normally find at car washes, so makes the experience much better. Importantly, they do their job really well and very thoroughly. Been here twice and both times the car was very well cleaned both inside and out and I pay attention to small details. They are located at the multi-storey parking, so parking adds a bit to the cost if you just come for a car wash.

The only place I take my car to be cleaned. Rare to have a hand car wash that doesn’t leave your car with the infamous swirl patterns from grit it the cleaning cloths. My BMW looks brand new every time! Thanks again for a brilliant car wash experience.

Would not use again. Used on the 17th Jan 2023.When I arrived the person cleaning recommended I should pay £70 instead of £35 for the extra fine interior cleaning. The result of the valet was well below the expected standard. There were areas of dirt still there and the hoovering was inadéquate. I was able to easily remove the dirt myself with a wet cloth so this was just a poor quality of cleaning.The outside of the car was well cleaned but again not as amazing as the local place I normally go to in St Margaret's.Please note, you also have to pay for the car park in addition to the cleaning.
