Lind Motorrad

My attempt to purchase the bike wasn't the best, but maybe it was the fluke. I tried to book the service then, on 15th Nov, on the BMW contact form, but I've never got contacted in the following 3 weeks. Yesterday I tried booking over the phone, and it took 2 days and 6 call attempts, requested callback (not delivered), and now I hear they have no trace of my request, and I can book for 6 weeks away. I wanted to rebuild the relationship but I guess they really, really can't care less.

Lind Motorrad WGCYesterday I rode my 2019 BMW R1250GS home from work, when I tried to restart the engine to put the bike away in the garage it wouldn’t start. I put the battery on-charge over-night on the BMW can-bus charger. Tried to start the bike this morning to start the bike to go to work and the bike won’t start. Contacted Lind WGC to book the bike in to be checked to see what is causing the battery to be run down or not charging the battery. Next available date that I can book the bike into the workshop is on JULY 8th.I am now unable to ride my bike for 6 WEEKS until it can be seen by the workshop.I have cancelled my booking and I am now totally disappointed with the Lind brand if this is how they treat loyal customers with a problem.I was told that 6 weeks is the normal waiting time for a workshop appointment for any BMW dealership. Do they not have any flexibility with regard to a break-down?I also asked if the Dealership manager could contact me, no response so far.Terry BaldwinFour working days and still waiting.........Four months later and still waiting for someone to contact me !!!What a joke................................................

Just had a deal with David Mabbutt and the boys at Lind BMW MOTORRAD Welwyn.Had conversations with Matthew and Dominic during the process and found them absolutely fantastic to deal with.No pressure sales just honest people who do their very best to accommodate your needs.Bike delivered as promised and in Great condition. I know that BMW bikes aren’t cheap but it’s true that you get what you pay for !! Definitely a company that I’ll deal with again. Thanks for all your efforts Boys.

Early morning, I wanted to educate myself about the GS family. Big showroom lovely looking machines are everywhere , and the sales team is just that sales team. They don't have the answers, or maybe they just don't think its important to provide one the answers they seek. Intresting approach, sort of buy it and go. Fairly disappointing, I thought that would be more bike lovers . Shame, really.

I want to say a VERY SPECIAL thank you to Barry who delivered my new BMW R Nine T Scrambler X with absolute style yesterday!! We had so much snow in Watford and the roads were terrible! But Barry's extremely professional approach made the delivery a wonderful experience and delivered my new bike straight into my summer house in the rear garden. There was no way I could have done that with all the snow around! It was amazing seeing how Barry took the bike out of the van down the ramp and manoeuvred the bike in snow and slush without any issues! He made it look effortless!! And to top it off Bary did the whole thing again in reverse while removing the part exchange bike from my garden and back into the van. Barry thank YOU so much for a top professional approach and showing me the control's on the bike and dealing with all the paperwork. You made my day Barry!!! Barry was so focused on the job in hand I couldn't even convince him to have a cup of coffee!!! And your a true inspiration to BMW and a direct contribution to maintaining the extreme quality service levels delivered by Lind Motorrad. Thank you again Barry. I would also like to say a special thanks to Martyn in sales and also Craig the dealerships manager who all looked after me so well and delivering an A" Class service to me. Went to view a RNineT and after a short discussion with the salesman was lucky enough to be able to test ride it there and then as the bike was ready to go and the garage was fairly quiet. (Not sure that on-the-spot test rides are always feasible).Whilst I was on the test ride they worked at getting me a very good trade-in price for my own bike.Unfortunately the RNineT wasn't for me, however I have nothing but praise for the guy who looked after me and would have no hesitation buying from this dealer in future based on my excellent experience.The bikes they had in-stock all looked immaculate and the showroom is lovely.Thanks and well done Welwyn BMW. Sure I'll be back next time a new bike comes knocking.

Great service when buying my bike. Dominic was easy to deal with and wasn’t pushy when it came to the sale. After sales ok. Workshop is busy so there’s quite a wait for an appointment. Not been an issue so far as all maintenance has been planned however I hope I don’t have to see how they are when there’s an urgent issue.

When you go into a garage of any type it can be trepadatious especially main dealerships. I was at first. However on asking for a small job to be carried out on my GS, James at the service/workshop dept desk could not have been more helpful, professional and welcoming. The place itself is a wonderfully vast Aladdin's cave of shiny Beemers" (including a few other premium brands) a destination place for motorcyclists in it's own right. But reputations are made by people and my experience of the people here was fabulous. My small job was complicated by a recall issue and some minor complications but James dealt with me and it in the only way one should expect

I recently purchased a brand new BMW R1250 GS ADV motorbike from BMW Motorrad Lind, and I can’t express enough how thrilled I am with both the exceptional service and the outstanding quality of the bike. Especially Dominic and all the team at BMW Motorrad Lind was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. Their expertise in helping me select the right model and their genuine passion for motorcycles made the experience not just smooth but enjoyable.
