Never again will I buy a new build house without doing some homework on the building company involved. Very pushy in getting you to sign the house off even though the extent of the snag work is way beyond acceptable to handing over to a client. Mostly poor to average workmanship and you can tell that every aspect of the build has been rushed, although the sales team really promote that they take 26 weeks to complete the build and they do this so that the job isn't rushed. A load of cod. This was our first home and if I'm honest I feel as though I'd been ripped right off. After sale customer care is well below the service standard I'd expect and it became almost a full time job just chasing and trying to get bluebell homes to complete outstanding snags and remedial. The only positive I can take away from dealing with edenstone group is that I now know what to avoid if I ever go down the new build route again. Proceed with caution before parting with your money. If you do proceed to buy from them the be prepared and make sure to hire a snagging company.

Absolutely appaling customer service. Sales team was very pushy with us getting our mortgage approved and mislead us with what we would eventually recieve. Upon completion we were then completely abandoned by the aftercare team with excuses blaming their kitchen contractor and also that it was nearing financial year end so they were too busy with building other new homes. Site manager ignored my correspondence and stated he has multiple email addresses and didn't see my emails due to this reason. All of this on top of the abomination that is the decorating and finishing work of the property. People I know will never use this company from hearing our experience. Please take care when purchasing from them, use a professional snagging company.

Not a great experience, Sales team work tirelessly and are a credit. That's where it ends. Trying to get someone out to resolve the list of issues is a challenge in itself, No contact, no engagement and unanswered VM. You are left wondering when someone will actually come to site to resolve the issues. Leave a bitter taste in what should have been a positive experience

Awful company. Cant wait to get your money then dont care once you move in.. We have had nothing but problems, garden on a massive decline which we werent told about, several leaks, garden full of broken glass, no heating for five days, sewage pipe not connected in attic leaving smell of raw sewage in house. Broken radiator took five weeks to be looked at. Back fence fixed" by removing hinges?! Been waiting a week to have a light fixed and shower fixed to stop leak.. Build director not interested

When considering Bluebell/Edenstone homes please ensure you speak to someone who has bought a home recently. Their customer service and after sales care is extremely poor. They appear to spend more time building new homes and have very little interest in satisfying existing home owners. Our kitchen looks like it was put together by a 3-year old with faulty kitchen white goods. Five months after moving in they do not have any urgency to acknowledge the problems they have left us with.As experienced by other reviewers, the local sales team are lovely people but totally powerless to address or resolve issues. The total silence that you get in response to your emails makes you wonder whether they are truly any different to the other home builders they claim they are not.

Disgusted from day 1. Zero empathy. Zero accountability. Everything becomes a fight. Stay away from the developer if you can.

I have worked for all the well known big house builders for nearly 17 years as a tradesman. I have been working at Edenstone Homes for nearly a year and the quality is second to none. From the materials we use to the working conditions. Edenstone Homes is a house builder that likes to do things right!!!!

We bought our Edenstone Home in September 2018. A premium new build, you pay over the odds but you're paying that little bit extra for a solid quality build. A good house let down by after sales. We are now really happy with the build and to be fair they are much better than a standard new build, Edenstone have splashed out on some quality fixtures and fittings and quality little touches. We never used the services of a professional snag service, but wish we had. There was a fair bit of snagging, mainly stupid little things where the tradesman had blatantly just rushed the job. All easy to rectify but still frustrating. Now apart from all these little things that can be rectified quite quickly, we are overall very happy with the house and most problems have now been fixed. One big thing which we were hugely disappointed with that are not so easy to fix was the lack of sound proofing between the floor and ceiling and the downstairs WC and also, basically we didn't seem to have any soundproofing! After countless emails, calls and nagging Edenstone organised for a rockwool company to come and blow insulation into all of our interior walls which worked a treat and make the interior walls really solid. If you're thinking about buying an Edenstone home then I would encourage you to agree with them mineral wool will be installed in the floor cavities and the stud walls and that also you pay for a professional snag service. The contractors will try to take short cuts and don't pay attention to detail. Everything that doesn't meet the quality we expected was rectified and now have a really decent house. We've since had work done on the house and all the builders have commented how well it's built.Edenstone's after sales can be pretty shambolic but if you keep on at them they do eventually come good!

We bought our present home at the development in 2021, which was a period when covid restrictions were still in place. We were downsizing and looking to buy a 3 bed bungalow ideally. Despite being a new development, the sales team advised no bungalow’s were available. Neither could they say when any would become available. They couldn’t even advise what homes would be constructed in further phases. The only home made available to us was a 3 bed semi detached, which was just a slab at the time which we eventually bought, and moved in late January 22.We have the only 3 bed semi detached home (Broughton) on the development and it was priced £35K over the equivalent model being sold by Bluebell Homes their sister company who are also building on the development.Apparently Edenstone homes are a higher specification than Bluebell. That’s arguably not the case !Their build quality was good however, the kitchen & bathroom designs aren’t the best. You’d imagine buying a home which is being constructed, you’d have some input into the design of the kitchen & bathroom, but not with Edenstone ?The house is adequate but lacks room in the kitchen/ dining room and main bathroom. Strangely, when constructing the next phase, they added a single storey extension to the rear of the kitchen/ dining room and fitted Bi Fold doors instead of French doors. We have also noticed that the kitchens fitted into properties subsequently constructed have a better design with more wall cupboards fitted than ours.We only had 1 wall cupboard installed for the entire kitchen and they think that’s acceptable !When we approached Edenstone customer care asking for a few faults to be rectified, the response has been poor. They are dreadful to deal with and are reluctant to do anything unless you pay them. You literally have to pay for so many additional extras and they want the money for those extras before you’ve even exchanged contracts. My advice is don’t buy a Edenstone / Bluebell home.
