Horrible experience. Despite stating on my booking form what I was looking for, they didn’t tell me till I got there that they had nothing like I was looking for in stock. Leaving me to try a selection of depressing drab wigs that looked horrible and left me even more depressed about my hair loss. The lady ‘helping’ me was negative and defeated before we even started, not the upbeat helpful tone you need when dealing with hair loss. She gave no advice on putting on/wearing wigs - tbh I think she was the receptionist. She was negative about the idea of ordering in different colours. She plonked a wig cap on me before I barely sat down, not giving me a chance to tell her I’d bought my own. Then had the cheek to charge me for it at the end - no warning. Altogether would avoid if you want an up to date wig style and cheerful advice.

Following chemotherapy I was extremely anxious about losing my hair and found the run up of trying on wigs quite upsetting. No need to worry at all as I was made to feel totally at ease and relaxed about the whole process and was looked after extremely well by Vicky. I was encouraged to try on a variety of wigs and they have some really great ones at excellent prices. Decided on a wig that almost matched my hair before the chemo started so was really pleased. To save me travelling back to pick up the wig (waited for NHS voucher) Vicky arranged to post mywig and aftercare accessories to my home. Thank you for everything will certainly recommend you.

Most impressed by Trendco and their personal service. My fitting appointment allowed me to try on a variety of wigs and discuss suitable styles with expert help. The lady I saw was most sincere with her advice, and worked very hard to find me something suitable. Being trans I was a little unsure about how I would be received, I was in male mode but the staff are most professional. The environment is totally discreet. A most enjoyable experience. I ended up buying two wigs that I am extremely happy with. The quality of their hair is very high. Don't waste your time and money on cheap wigs from eBay or other unknown sources. The only way to buy such products is visiting Trendco. The investment is well worth the money. Most impressed and look forward to another visit in a few months. You must book an appointment as it is a dedicated one to one service.

I have had a few visits to Trendco Hove and Vicki-Jane made me feel special. Each appointment is for a set time, but there are so many people looking for a wig to change their life and they are Covid safe so they need time to clean after each visit. I appreciate that level of care given to myself and others.I received the support to find a wig that was perfect for me and Vicki-Jane styled in for me and made it something special that I love wearing. If, like me, your hair is important then I highly recommend Vicki-Jane as the experience was life changing.

Knowing I would lose my hair with chemotherapy I went to Trendco Hove to buy a wig. Lovely caring staff to make you feel at ease. Bought the gift box also and 9 months on no regrets. It was the right choice and I love it. Highly recommend them.
