Amazing producer /musician .Steve guides singers and musicians and bands through the professional recording process and then adds his magic mastering techniques to achieve a broadcast quality end product . Great studio !

I've been recording with Steve almost every week for the last 4 years and I cannot speak highly enough about Floortom Studios, and of course Steve himself who is as nice a person as I have ever met!Eternally cheerful, humorous, positive, and most importantly for studio work: enthusiastic and encouraging. He has the ability to get the very best out of me, and plays an important part of the entire creation process by knowing exactly when to contribute and when to let things flow.And although the studio is in the (beautiful and peaceful) Aberdeenshire countryside, the equipment he has (he does love as plug-in!) and the ability he has to use it would not be out of place in a top London studio complex charging 3 or 4 times the price.Makes great coffee as well! :-)

Steve has produced 3 singles for me taking a basic idea and making them amazing, the guy knows what he is doing an amazing producer and musician

Extremely skilled and talented music producer, studio engineer as well as being a top class drummer, guitarist and song writer. Being in Steve’s hands with your production will being your musicianship and production to life and to a new level. A level you didn’t realise you could achieve. He will help you, guide you and teach you lots of new things and help you become a better more knowledgeable musician in the studio and out. I highly recommend Steve. It’s the one place where your visions, wishes and talents are realised and taken seriously.

Awesome experience at this studio with professionalism from Steve. Took a bedroom demo and helped turn it into a great sounding track with great input on how to take it to the next level! Would recommend Floortom Studio to anybody and will definitely be going back.

Great day in the studio with Steve.Very professional service, all tracks recorded edited and mixed to an amazing standard. Looking at the next set of songs to record to plan another session.

Floortom heard a very rough gopro recording of our song and said he’d help us record it at the highest standard. The results did not disappoint! We had a great time working with him in his studio. A great facility and much more than just pressing record and fiddling some knobs. Steve was friendly, welcoming and very helpful and was determined to get the best recording possible as opposed to some who will gladly just take your money. Couldnt recommend it highly enough our band the Zenith made three albums with floortom its a great studio with a great vibe. We had a great time recording and mixing the albums with a great producer who not only is a stand up human being, he also helped us feel at ease with the recording process and helped us acheive the albums and final sound we were after. If our sound isnt what your after he has a long list of great sounding music in most genres and floor tom will help you get where you want to go.
