I rented 6 suits from there shop which cost us £1080 the suits came stained one of the suits shirts where wrong size and nothing fitted correctly.no information was given to us about time scale of returning them by the youngest guy worked there (i spoke to them on many occasions and nothing was said) I went away on my honeymoon the day after our wedding I was bomb barred with calls from many of there staff telling me that the suits had to be returned the next day after usage i informed them that not one from my party where informed of this without any contract about this matter and i will arrange for the suit to be returned the day after i come back because they where in my house and no on had access. whilst i was away, i constantly received notifications off on my ring doorbell and it was John E Monk turning up at my house on more then one occasion.He turned up at my house today with the young guy my wife was in the bath and i was upstairs getting dress so my daughter answered the door and ask him who it was he refused to tell heri go down stairs to find Mr Monk now in my hallway without no invitation i come down the stairs and tell him to get out he starts to question me about how late the suits where to be returned waving a letter around like a mad man saying you are getting sued to which i escorted him out of my house and he threw the letting towards my face.This company should be ashamed and John E Monk also he is a absolute fool

I have just moved from to Liverpool for University and broke my favourite tote bag. I came to John E. Monk Taylors and they kindly fixed my bag for me for free. All the workers were so welcoming and kind too. Highly Recommend

Beautiful quality suits, personal service outstanding, they go the extra and it shows, can't recommend them enough, you'd be a fool to go anywhere else.

Me and my fiancé had an appointment booked for trying on wedding suits, but the gentleman really did not seem interested in selling to us.He said it had been a busy morning but this is no reason to treat us the way that he did which came across as rude and dismissive especially as they had agreed to book us in for an appointment at that timeHe did not help us try on any clothes and was very evasive in his manner.We also noticed his abrupt manner with other customers in the store.Their products seem OK but unfortunately the design we wanted to try on was not in stock, he told us to come back next week for it, but, it seemed like he wanted to get us out of the shop as soon as we came in!

Unreal experience, from the initial 1st fitting to collection. Made to feel at ease when trying suit on. Highly “highly” recommend John E. John E Monk made the stressful part of choosing and fitting suits for myself and our Groomsmen very simple for our wedding at Eaves Hall. All suits fitted perfectly and even the suit provided for my 9 year old. We wore black tails with grey waistcoats with sage ties and handkerchiefs. Shoes and shirts were also included and were fantastic. John also ordered an additional tie for our magician to cut up for a trick!
