It's a busy station and there are trains to many places in Scotland. Job done.Buy food for the journey in the streets around the station to save money. Poundland and others are not far away.

It's a big train station. Convenient to travel. There is a Glasglow Central Hotel next to the station.

Central station is fantastic. I work beside this beautiful station and use it on a daily basis as I get my train from platform 15 most days. One fault I would have had was one of the ticket staff was very rude to me when I was queuing waiting to speak to someone from the ticket office and kept shouting at me to come to a machine. I told her I needed to speak with the ticket office and she kept screaming at me to come to a machine.

The staff are doing a great job here during the current RMT dispute .Updated today 25th August.Really helpful lady in the ticket office.(? Laura ) Really helped me plan my journey as I was stressed about getting hone from London due to my concerns about the effect of my European coach trip missing the ferry or new customs regulations holding things up and making me miss my train. As happened before.You don't get that kind of help from a machine!!!

Day out to Glasgow,got on the train at Branchton train station Greenock. Train was on time and took about 40mins to get to Glasgow. It was a nice day to walk about went to George square

1st class lounge was open again which is a bonus, only Downfall is no toilets.

For a first timer like me it was a little confusing to find the place of my train but the staff have me all the attention needed! Really nice!
