National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Very poor service. So I booked my car in for a Saturday morning as I work away during the week. Had the email confirmation and was all set until I got a phone call off a woman called Amy saying the tyres I ordered weren't in stock. I was already on my way to the garage so wasn't best pleased. I asked them to chase it up and received a call from Amy stating they had been told the c tyres would be there for around 230pm so to come for 3pm. I arrived for 3pm to then be told the tyres hadn't arrived so understandably I wasn't happy, asked why didn't they phone me beforehand instead of me making the trip? I asked for them to contact the supplier and see what's happening, they said they couldn't get hold of anyone and that all agents were busy". In addition they asked me if I wanted a summer tyre which wasn't what I was after as I originally ordered all season tyres.Finally I was told "there's nothing more they can do" and didn't seem bothered in the slightest.I did contact customer service to complain but they weren't interested

Nice and friendly service for my MOT staff were helpful, receptionist was down to earth and easy to chat to, helped me with downloading an app. Worth a visit on my experience

I came into Amy's depot in Low Fell for a few tyres and I found that the service was absolutely brilliant from speaking to Amy initially and Gabi and then Rob and Sam it was absolutely brilliant couldn't fault that's why I'm giving her five stars

Terrible experience with this garage. Booked and paid for a full MOT and Service and when collecting my car I was told the service wasn't completed (did get a refund but not the point), had to return 4 days later as the guy had left a piece of metal in my new rear brakes and was causing some horrendous grinding noises. And now in the last 2 days I've had to call the RAC twice as my oil filter corroded and leaked everywhere, something that could have been avoided if the service had been done. And now my exhaust arm has fallen off, something that should have been checked during the MOT and with hardly driving since my MOT not sure how it could have come so loose it could have fallen off. Shocking from this mechanic in particular, management/office staff were great and super helpful but yeah very poor service from the mechanic.

Had new brakes installed on my car the other week, helpful informative friendly staff especially the two lasses behind the counter and rob the mechanic, plus his other colleagues.

So highly recommend this garage, the two girls are fantastic, so friendly and full of knowledge , have also dealt with one of the guys but don't know his name who is also just as friendly, we take both cars to this garage and have always been happy with the service we needed.

Tyres prices are reasonable and the service was excellent helpful and efficient
