The Blue Pool
An azure blue slice of heaven!!Our first visit to this little section of paradise and it most certainly won't be the last!! It's an hour or so's trip from our home and worth every minute behind the wheel. It is so peaceful there, like a huge zen garden, and the wonderful staff helped to make it the most restful and beautiful place we've ever been to, south of the M4 anyway!!It's called Blue Pool for a reason, it really is the most wonderful shade of blue/turquoise due to the chemistry of the water. There are walks aplenty round the nature reserve and a wonderful restaurant/tearoom with ample outdoor seating with perfect views over the main pool.A must-visit for anyone in the area, whether on holiday or not, you won't regret it, if you don't rush around, just relax and take your time and let the tranquility just wash over you.

The Blue Pool
Fantastic few hours here. Brilliant walk with different trails in the woods. Fantastic play area for the kids. Lots of fairy doors to find on the walk. The staff are so lovely and there is plenty of parking. Reasonable price to get in. The Blue pool is breathtaking it's amazing how the colours are constantly changing due to the light. Plenty of benches as we took our own food and drinks. There is a cafe there and a gift shop also has clean toilets. Highly recommend 10/10

The Blue Pool in Dorset is a serene haven, perfect for those seeking tranquillity and natural beauty. Its well-maintained paths, suitable for all, wind through a landscape graced by a unique sandy subsoil, ensuring dry footing in all weathers. This accessibility is a testament to thoughtful design, allowing visitors of varying mobility to partake in the peaceful escape. The surrounding wildlife and flora add to the enchantment, creating a soothing ambiance with birdsong and rustling leaves. While the on-site food is of average quality, the attentive service makes for a pleasant dining experience. Please note that an entry fee is applicable, supporting the preservation of this idyllic spot. The Blue Pool is a hidden gem in Dorset, where quietude and natural beauty unite to offer a serene retreat for all who appreciate the charm of the British countryside.

The Blue Pool
We found this hidden gem whilst on holiday in Dorset, we were looking at places to visit, and this popped up on my partners phone. We are so glad it did. It was a a 10 minute ride from where we were staying. There was plenty of parking, the lady at the entrance was very helpful and friendly. Parking is a suggested donation of £2, the cheapest we paid all week.Once inside, we had a lovely walk around. The views are amazing. In the right areas, it is so peaceful. We fed the pigs, who, unlike most pigs at other places, are very well kept, clean, and very friendly. We took a picnic so can't comment on the food. We did have ice creams, though, which are very nice.If you're in the area, it is well worth a day out. It will be the cheapest, and maybe your best day out.
