Absolutely lovely view. So nice to sit by the lake and have a lunch. Surprisingly big menu for a family run cafe, food was standard.

Lovely cafe by the lake serving reasonably priced British food. A plus is that the cafe is dog friendly and it’s such a great chance to refuel and warm up after a long dog-training session in the park. Remember to bring cash with you because they are currently operating cash only.

We love this place so much , have lunch here at least once a month. Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and all the staff members very friendly and helpful. This cafe is dog friendly inside and outside.Have a toilet facilities.On a sunny days is always very busy .

Stopped in for milkshakes that were small, expensive and incredibly sweet.Waited at the counter for a couple of minutes while staff chatted and ate in the kitchen, ignoring me. Had to call them over for service then got stroppy reaction from all the miserable staff for interrupting them. When staff came to deliver the shakes they just put them on the table and left without a word. We got no serviettes so my partner went to the counter for a couple and was ignored again. So she walked into the kitchen and got them herself. After we drank them a sour faced woman came to clear the table and removed the glasses without any acknowledgement. Despite me speaking to her, she completely ignored me.I don't remember experiencing such incredibly bad service anywhere ever.A nice location, but I won't ever be giving them anymore of my hard earned money again

Fantastic Cafe in the most wonderful location with views across the lake opposite. The Breakfast itself was absolutely delicious & served with a smile from the staff who were very friendly & greeted me cheerily as soon as I entered. Would highly recommend & will definitely visit again when I'm next in the area!

Lakeview Palace Cafe
Very nice atmosphere, nice little cafe in the park. Good for after a long walk to go there and eat. Prices and portions are very good. Under £10 for roast lamb that was nice and tender. English breakfast really good quality sausage and bacon. I was surprised at the prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly. 10/10 will go again, nice and warm inside. Dog friendly, place was clean.

(Menu attached here) Our first visit of many I'm sure! Great cafe, great setting, great service and tasty food. Outdoor and indoor seating, veggie options, kids menu, dog friendly, free parking nearby. We enjoyed a eggs royale, florentine and Lakeview veggie benedict. Also a great mango banana smoothie! Hot beverages okay, nothing special. Overall great little family owned establishment. I'm told by others that it wasn't so great before, but it changed hands just before covid and now it's packed on the weekends! No bookings for small tables I believe, walk ins.

We went on a Sunday. It was rated good and we were looking for an outdoor cafe with a bit of scenery so this seemed perfect.It was busy but we managed to grab a table. It's a self order service, or if it was quieter maybe there's more service but we queued at the till.Tables weren't cleaned after each person, had to ask the waitresses to. Get it was busy, I was happy to clean it myself but waited for them to take dishes but not wipe the food off the table.It was super hot this day also, so asked for a glass of tap water and the waitress said she'll try...Disappointed with service. Can't complain about a nice view, so an okay place to visit. Just not on a sunny day..
