Great all day breakfast. Great service. Only complaint is that it was a bit cold in the cafe. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Lovely little cafe with very nice cakes and cream scones at reasonable prices. Then into the garden centre to buy some beautiful winter pansies.

Good food and friendly staff....my only small niggle is that the food which is usually a full English for us is served on cold plates which in turn is makeing the food get cold quicker.Apart from that it's lovely and great value for money.

This cafe is a favourite of my daughter and I. She is at uni and we meet here and take up the offer of the coffee and cake deal. Lovely Riverside surroundings outside. Not ordered a meal here so cannot comment on food but cake and coffee is lovely and the service is great with friendly staff x

Wifey and I both had the all-day breakfast, coffee and a cake. Breakfast was served very quickly but was served on cold plates.. a big no-no for us, so a star off. I like tinned tomatoes, not whole fresh fried ones, and the hash browns were poor, so another star off. Coffee was good and was hot all the way through breakfast. We'd probably eat here again but a sandwich next time

We went today meeting up with 9 friends and had a wonderful time. We had the full English breakfast which was served really quickly and was absolutely delicious and a little later tea and a cake. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and we all had a lovely time.UPDATE - Unfortunately we have met here on at least three more occasions and every time hot food has not been served either because they say staff shortages or problems with equipment. The latest one was this morning and I had even emailed a few days ago to check that breakfast would be served as we were meeting up especially to say farewell to one of our friends who was moving out of the area and was told that I couldn't reserve a table which I have always done previously and they also said that they would be serving food so we were so disappointed when we arrived to find that no breakfasts were being served yet again and instead it was only toast or toasted teacakes and the majority of them were burnt! So we have now all decided that this was our last visit to Riverside Cafe and we will meeting from now on at Notcutts as although we would prefer to support a small family run business unfortunately it is completely unreliable now and sadly the way it is going I can actually see it closing down in the not too distant future.

Nice cake & coffee, but the place was full of dogs, I don't mind dogs but I don't want my rest in the middle of a kennel. Perhaps would be better if there was an area for owners and dogs.
