Been here several times over the summer. Challenging course with good greens. 18 hole course (though 2nd 9 is a variation of the 1st 9). As this is open to the public, you get walkers and dogs cut across fairways fairly regularly, not a major issue for me personally, targets to aim at!

It’s a step back in time playing this course . I was invited by a friend who lives not too far away and for me one of those unforgettable experiences. Nine holes set in Epping forest with all the beauty and wildlife that entails coupled with the history an old established course brings . The clubhouse is steeped in history as well and you can’t help but take yourself back to when this course was first constructed , when bunkers weren’t even mandatory! A history lesson awaits

Very friendly golf club great clubhouse great selection of beers wines and shorts. Course all though a 9 hole it's in excellent condition with great greens wide fairways good for all handicaps

Great challenging course. The fairways were really brown and hard due to a lack of rain. Hope it's in better nick next time I play here. Great prices at the 19th hole though

Nice place ,i can only do 9 nowadays ,so it fits me well ,lovely greens ,which are hard to read …the course is fine .

If you are looking for a challenging course, then this might not be ideal. Most holes are straight to the flag. BUT the condition of the course is impressive, especially their greens. Fairway is also well maintained and trimmed.

Genuinely disappointed I paid £20 to play here... There were more ramblers and dog walkers then golfers. Not entirely sure you can call it a golf course either considering the fairways were longer than my own garden grass.... Lost 3 balls due to the vast amount of leaves... Random guy practicing his chipping on the 4th who'd just walked on without paying. Terrible course. Was basically 9 flags randomly strewn across a public park... Not entirely sure what the green fees go towards.Left after 9 holes as couldn't bare to go round again.
