Really enjoyed my stay at the Alex Macintyre hut!. Has a fully functioning kitchen with nice hot showers and toilet facilities. For the price it’s a very good place to stay.My only criticism is the sheets on the beds are really dirty. Everything else is very clean!. Other then that it was excellent.Nice stay - would stay again for sure!

Great little bunk house - bring £1 coins if you want heating in the bedrooms.

Great hut in great area with loads to go at a short drive from hut. Accomodation basic, but warm and comfortable just as a climbing hut should be. Remember £1 coins for heaters. Advise folks to car share as parking can be tight.

Stayed here a few times in the 90s. I found it extremely comfortable with warm showers and a well equipped cooking area. We used to go to a hotel spa in Ballachulish to use the pool and sauna which was absolutely magic after a hard day in the hills. I have wracked my brains to remember the hotel's name but cannot. I reckon it is the most cosy mountain-hut I have stayed in.
