Oxford Stadium
Went to the speedway. Glasgow Tigers vs Oxford Cheetahs. There is a distinct smell of the engine, due to their fuel. Speedway bikes have no brakes hence the slides round. The ground is basic but good views. There is an indoor seated space with hospitality. Lots of food drink outlets, burger n chips. All parking is at the Unipart conference centre, about 6 mins walk from ground. Book parking on your ticket, it’s free and no one checks, but just in case.

We had a fun night out. Ate in the restaurant, food was way more than I wrongly expected. It was really tasty and very generous portions!

Special Saturday, was £7.95 for a dink(alcoholic or non alcoholic), burger and chips or veggie burger and chips, and a £2.00bet on the dog races. Great fun was had by all! 6 of us, never having been before, whether we won or not, we're all excited! Definitely will do it again!

Had a great time with the family watching the greyhound racing at the Oxford stadium on the evening. We haven't been to watch the greyhounds for years .There is a bar, Snack bar and Restaurant onsite.I thought the indoor area had a good view of the whole track which was also very well lit. Will be visiting again.

Lovely to have speedway back in the Thames Valley. Oxford Stadium can be reached by the number 1 or 5 bus direct from the railway station.As well as the usual terracing there is a restaurant along with food and drink outlets.

Great track with an amazing history of dogs racing. Great food and drinks. You can sit outdoors or indoors.
