Brookfields Boarding and Canine Care Centre

Our dog Brie has just spent four fabulous days at Brookfields while we were away at a family wedding. She has never been in kennels before but we are so impressed with the facilities and the lovely staff, she has been really well looked after and has made some new doggie friends. Would highly recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate putting Brie in Brookfields again.

A Big Thank You to all the staff, our Cockapoo Bertie has just been there for the past 10 days. I saw regular up-dates on Face Book, he had a good time would recommed them.

Thor recently stayed at Brookfield's whilst we were on holiday abroad. Brookfield's came recommended to us by a couple of people and we are very happy to have found them. We had the package to receive photos and videos daily and Thor looked to be having the time of his life. It was a holiday for him. He played with other dogs that matched his personality and made a few friends.

I have been using this kennels for many years. My chihuahua stayed recently on his own for the first time, as we lost our cavalier, and I was a bit concerned leaving him on his own. I needn't have worried, he absolutly loved it. The girls are so caring and amazing with the dogs. Normally he is very wary of people, but he goes straight to them as soon as he gets there. i would not use anywhere else.

As other dog owners will understand, our dogs are like our babies and it is especially important we know that they are well looked after and comfortable when we unfortunately have to be separated for a while. We have left our dog Monty with Julie and her team twice now, and on both occasions they have made us feel very comfortable leaving him in their care. We think Monty agrees; both times when we went to collect him he didn’t seem too fussed about us and wanted to stay! This was especially true during Monty's most recent stay at Brookfields where he unfortunately experienced two seizures. Thankfully, staff at Brookfields are trained in exactly how to identify and handle events like this, acting swiftly to help Monty feel comfortable and recover. We highly recommend Brookfields for anyone who may be anxious about leaving their beloved pets in good hands, you won't be disappointing.

DO NOT USE THIS KENNELS. Terrible customer service & no care for dogs at all, Julie is extremely money orientated. Our dog was tragically hit by a car a week before he was due to stay at Brookfields, we advised Julie of this the day after the accident and told her our dog couldn’t come for his stay. She seemed slightly compassionate at the start but still advised payment would be due anyway even though this tragedy had happened and our dog was in a critical condition. She told us she wouldn’t be able to let the kennel again at such short notice even though she is always advertising last minute availability on her Facebook page. The day our dog was due to go to Brookfields Julie hounded me for payment by phone, WhatsApp and email & also contacted my mom for payment. At no point were we not willing to pay we just had a lot going on with our very poorly dog & we were also getting married in the middle of all of this. She continued to hound us for the money & showed no compassion or care for what we were going through. I would NEVER use this kennels again & know all they care about is the money rather than the dogs.

Lily has been boarding at Brookfields since she was 8 months old, she’s now nearly 4!She now goes every week for a couple of nights and she’s treated like one of the family!Lily suffers from Inflammatory Bowel disease and we trust Julie and her staff to look after her, feed her correctly and they have even taken her to the vets in the past when we’ve been away!She has real fun with the other dogs and plenty of exercise!I would definitely recommend Brookfields as 5 star quality care!!!

Enjoyed our break so much more, confident that our young dog Tilly would receive high quality, secure care in our absence. She was her normal happy self immediately on our return (which previously had not always been our experience) and we feel this shows that she had been content and relaxed. We thought our holidays would be very limited now that we are dog owners, but will have no hesitation in leaving her in safe, capable hands at Brookfields again. Many thanks.
