Awful. Just awful microwaved food and the worst service I've ever experienced.I wonder how can it be still open.I have ordered white fish with mixed veg and rice, the fish was soggy and old, tasted like ammonia.The rice had YELLOW bits, which were just old over-microwaved rice.I have politely asked the waitress (who does not really know what serving people means) to bring the meal away, saying I do not mean to be rude"

This is a great asset to the general area being a distinguished restaurant that creates very tasty Mediterranean food. For general parties and work gatherings its ideal, however its strongly advisable to book well in advance so seating arrangements and availability is confirmed.

Freshly made food, very nice staff, cool place & reasonable price. Very recommend

Went to La Casbah with my girlfriend last night as we're heading off to Marrakech in a few weeks and wanted to get in the spirit, and what a pleasant evening we had! Although rather unassuming from the outside, inside the decor is warm and inviting. Our waiter was very friendly and clearly knowledgeable about the dishes, and the food was very prompt. The dishes we had were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by both of us; after hummus & olive starters, Spanish-Moroccan chicken for me and stuffed pepper for her, both lovely and just the right size. A pot of fresh mint tea after the food was a lovely (& very Moroccan!) way to end the meal. Value was excellent, we paid £21 for two starters & two mains and a pot of mint tea. Definitely recommended!

Love La Casbah! I don't normally like olives at all, but I can't get enough of them here lol. Don't know what they marinade them in, but I like it! I love the simple home cooked feel to the food. I would like to see some more specials on the board, but I can't say I have ever had a bad experience there, the manager and staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Very good value for money as well in my opinion. It will continue to be a regular place to eat for me :-)

Love this place! Have been coming for over 10 years now and love how friendly and inviting it is. The food is always very reasonably priced and tasty and I love the relaxed feel to the restaurant. A nice place to catch up with friends, especially when the budget is tight and you can BYO wine or beers.

Tried their new 2 x starters and 2 x mains for £20. We had trio of aubergine, olives and hummus with pitta to share and 2 x lemon chicken with rice.It was amazing.To drink we had a bottle of wine, its bring your own.A definite Wednesday evening treat.

Stumbled in here with five friends late on a Monday night, relieved to find somewhere still open! I and four of my friends found the food to be delicious, well-cooked and reasonably priced. In particular, the meat balls with couscous was very nice.Unfortunately, one of our friends didn't get to eat with us because his order never arrived. The server was very apologetic and explained that the chef simply didn't notice the order until he was plating-up the rest of them and set to work cooking it straight away. By the time it was ready the rest of us had finished eating so he had it to take away in the end. A big let-down that tainted was would otherwise have been a really nice meal.The food was so nice that I don't want to write-off La Casbah on this one, unfortunate mistake. I'll give the restaurant another go sometime.

Went here for the first time a recently - it was really good. BYOB is always a great policy. The food was very tasty - I had Moroccan lamb and it was delicious, although the meat was bordering on being a little dry. My wife had a fish stew and she said it was great. The service was friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.

I went for a meal this evening with my family and had the best time. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is just lovely and my 3 boys enjoyed every bit of there food.The man is so friendly who owns it and the chef cooks the best food.Definitely worth more than 5 stars and definitely will be returning.
