Better things on the way for this end of Chester. Situated on the Chester Canal, close to a cluster of restaurants and near the city centre. Not on the beaten track yet perhaps, but popular with locals.

When l was a firefighter, we carried out fire safety checks,when the Steam Mill was still as it was before the change of use.lt was so special to see it in the original condition. l have known it in so many different eras. The fact that it still has a lot of the cast iron supports and features.lt is still a iconic building gracing our city.l can imagine the Mill with barges loading and unloading being carried out from the canal. The cobbled roadways and granite blocks on the corners to deflect carriage wheels.

I took mum on a evening cruise it's well priced and it's a three hour trip the views and food and drink and hospitality is very good

A serviced business centre set in an historic mill building. Decent amount of parking and modern facilities once you're inside. Right by the canal, so the City Road pubs and eateries are a few minutes walk away, as is the Chester railway station.

I only visit the pubs & restaurants on the canal. But I do like the area and the hospitality. Plenty to discover and enjoy
