Some nice stuff, but don't expect a bargain, or anything like it - they know how to charge! Disability access is awful too. Not just the steps in/out but the whole place is stuffed with stock that even the able bodied struggle to get to see. Fire escape corridors restricted by display goods too.

Positives. One talkative and friendly young staff member made a difference. Really nice homewards and some quirky. We did buy something which will be a nice touch at home.Negatives. Two a tiny bit older other staff members were a bit miserable, not even saying anything when I said thanks and bye loudly. Some of the carved tables for example, personal choice but if I have a carved table, I would not want it layered with paint to make it look different, would want it a bit natural. Prices.

Love a browse around & usually come away having bought something. They have some unusual items & furniture. Prices of everything are reasonable too. Staff helpful & friendly.

Let down by the experience with the blonde girl at the till. Surprised she could actually wrap up purchases while literally looking down her nose at customers. A very different experience from when I shopped there a few years back. If I hear on the grapevine that the atmos has changed in there, I might consider returning in future but until then there are other homeware shops to patronise.
