I have wanted to take some photo's of this place for some time. I imagine it was a place where children enjoyed a lovely time in it's heyday. Unfortunatly, following it's closure in the 60's, It was neglected and is now very run down. It is full of rubbish (a sad reflection of today's society)

Sad seeing this in such a bad state. I imagine years ago kids loved this place. Now it's almost forgotten about.

This has been disused and run down for some time.Local folk tell me that as children in the 60's they used to damn the overflow with a board. Then after the water from the mountain had filled the lido to max. - they pulled the board away sending a torrent of water down the hill and the lane at the bottom leading to Cardiff Road!
