I’ve been using this way of saving for years. It’s brilliant for if I need a loan with low interest rates. I use it as a savings for Christmas or for when I need to replace something in the home.

I rang C U in Laird Street the 2nd week in December 2017 to let them know I wanted my savings for 7th Jan 2018 as I am going to USA. The lady told me that would fine if I came in on 2nd Jan and it would be in my Bank for Thursday 4th Jan 2018. I was thrilled as this would give me ample time to exchange my cash to $. So, you can imagine how annoyed I was when on 2nd Jan 2018 I drove to Laird St. to collect my savings......only to see it shuttered closed ! I rang the C U from my parked Car and the message said....We are closed until 8th Jan !!!!!!!!
