Swagger & Jacks

Wonderful staff that are friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. I've been a customer for nearly 5 years and despite it being a little pricey for a student, I've not looked back since. My barber, Paddy, is brilliant. It is amazing how much he knows and how skilled he is.

I had an exceptional first visit to Swagger & Jacks today. The team exuded genuine friendliness and approachability, instantly making me feel comfortable and relaxed. My barber, Kieron, effortlessly grasped my hairstyle vision, showcasing remarkable confidence and professionalism.Having recently undergone a complete hairstyle transformation, this haircut was pivotal, and Kieron's expertise was evident in his ability to guide me toward my desired look.In summary, my experience was utterly flawless, leaving me delighted and eagerly anticipating my next appointment, which I've already scheduled.

Brilliant place! Talented barber Matthew, did a fantastic job with my fiancés beard and hair. He said he will definitely come back soon. Super friendly staff and good value for the level of care and finish we received. Thank you so much- also to the receptionist who helped me find the perfect treatment via emails, prior to our visit. :)

Had a great cut with Jacob, did exactly what I asked for, and made it look just how I imagined it. Professional with great hospitality. Worth the price and easily the only place I'll be going in the future. 10/10 for Jacob, 10/10 for the place itself!

Roxanne is such a sweet lass, very friendly and attentive. Think this was my fourth time at Swaggers and everytime I've come away very happy with my hair and beard cut. I live near Downham Market and it's right out of my way to go Swaggers but it's well worth the distance, time and money.

Fantastic service.The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful.After a long seven years without a proper cut I was quite nervous about getting so much cut off but Jacob was fantastic about deciphering my non-hair-savvy ramblings about what I would like length/style wise and I'm very happy with the result!I will be going back to S&J next time I need a cut or a tidy up!

Haircut was decent, but I paid for the most expensive shave and am not impressed. The towels were not wrapped properly around my neck, leading to bad razor burn where they weren't pressed close. Either that or the razor wasn't sharp and clean. The barber had to stop in the end as he could see the razor burn and didn't want to cut me - meaning that there's still some stubble on my neck! My moustache was trimmed unevenly - the side which I explicitly noted was thinner was shaved closer than the side which needed to be thinned down to match. My neck line was shaved much higher than the pre-existing line, which I specifically told the barber needed to be at that level. Despite drawing his attention to them, the barber didn't tidy up flyaways in my moustache nor even out stray hairs around my chin. It all looks good from a distance, which is why I didn't notice in the shop, but inspecting up close this evening it all looks a bit scruffy and, considering the price I paid (£55!), I feel pretty annoyed to be honest. One doesn't pay top price for a specialist shave like this without expecting a top class shave. For around £30 I'd have no complaints but for this price, it's not really good enough. There's plenty to like about the shave, the grading is great and the general impression is sharp, but really not worth the price.

Tommy's awesome – I always leave him looking better than when I walked in. He's careful and considerate with every cut, and will ensure I'm not asking for a silly haircut and really knows his styles. Plus, he's super cool to talk to. The shop's chilled out, clean, and I never have to wait too long with an appointment. Highly recommend him if you want a solid haircut in a relaxed chair.

Another fantastic Swagger & Jacks experience. Paddy, my barber, worked magic. I left the shop looking and feeling fantastic, and with my whole mindset turned around. Considering that my entire week, before coming to Swagger & Jacks, had been a disaster, that’s a heck of a trick Paddy pulled off!! Looking forward to the next time.

My barber is Roxanne. She is amazing. She welcomes me in, makes me feel relaxed. Roxanne also has a lot of attention to detail when cutting my hair so I am more confident. Really focused on the skin fade.She is also very chatty and a real asset to S&J. Keep it up Roxanne! Xx
