Normally I don’t leave reviews but I had to.I look after my friend’s dog quite a bit and feel like a doggy auntie an thought I’d like to treat him. I was searching the web for places local and seen Purdy’s. If I’m honest seeing the big bone made me giggle and I thought we’re going to this store. For me it was a 10 minute drive, it’s on a main road but I was able to park in the side street fine. I was sure if dogs were allowed in but I was pleasantly surprised that they was. J was having a field day smelling all the foods and trying to nom everything. The staff were so friendly and J was just loving all the attention. For me it made it an extremely nice experience considering I was just looking to run in and run out. I got the doggy ice cream which I felt like lasted forever and J seemed like the happiest puppy dog all day. I will be returning here and recommending it to everyone. Thank you

If you have a pet, especially a dog, then this is a must visit. Check their Facebook page, you'll get the idea.They are extremely friendly and will give you good advice about pet related items from food to flea treatment.My dog is a regular visitor and loves the attention she receives. She only goes in to play ball, but gets everyone, including customers involved.They also have a groom room, and the girls are very good, well worth the time to seek out and visit

Purdys is an excellent business very friendly, helpful ,and always go above and beyond ! We have known them 4 years now and can honestly say I wouldn't trust anybody with my basset but Rebecca Tracy I have full trust in and as for boe he loves his time there in grooming and in filling up his stash of toys and treats.Always have our custom. A great vibe for a local thriving business, .well done ladies for all the hard work you put in to Purdys.Our community needs good businesses and this is by far the best pet shop in coventry..!

I just wanted to share my recent experience with Purdys pet shop. I have a dog, 2 cats and a bearded dragon. Although the don’t deal with reptiles themselves they are in close contact with people that do. I was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were and what a huge range of products they sell. I would say a huge ‘well done’ to a local independent shop. I wish there were more like this around!!

Lovely staff, friendly and always helpful. Very knowledgeable about their own products or pet-related services in the community, from the beginning they have supported rescue centres such as the Dog Bus and currently the RSPCA. I dont think there are any businesses like it that are local run and community focused. Our dog absolutely adores it/ them and so do we!

Amazing staff, always welcoming, the community service they provide is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, if they don't have it, they will strive to get it, if you can't get there, they come to you.You can just pop in for a chat which I think is invaluable, and the Charity work always involves the community and is so much fun.Pop.rown you will not be disappointed and take the pets, not just cats and dogs. Xx
