Sew You Can

Over the last year and a half, I have attended a number of classes run by Sew you Can.I would highly recommend this company for anyone who wants to learn how to sew or improve their confidence to sew.There is a great community feeling in classes and every support given to anyone with projects they are looking to tackle.Amanda and her well skilled team are fantastic at passing on their knowledge in a very respectful and caring way!

The beginners course for pre-teens was a Christmas gift for my daughter from her grandparents and she's thoroughly enjoyed learning to use a sewing machine, make a tote bag, a skirt, an apron, and scrunchies. Under the covid circumstances, I've only met Amanda once, but she was friendly and welcoming and Holly looks forward to going to sewing school! So much so, she wants me to sign her up for the teens class! Highly recommend Sew You Can kids classes.

Just finished the Wednesday morning Dressmaking Club at Amanda's lovely studio. Met some lovely ladies who have completed other classes. As always Amanda is welcoming & offers support during the class .....Sew You Can is the perfect place to learn or refresh your dressmaking skills.. Glad I signed up.

I travelled all the way from Peebles to attend Amanda’s Roman Blind Class and would happily do the journey again for another class - it was well worth it! Amanda’s studio is very well kitted out with modern equipment and is bright and airy. We worked on tables that could be adjusted to any height and everyone had plenty of space. I didn’t feel rushed, there was enough time to complete the blind and still allow for a few setbacks! Amanda was very clear, helpful, patient and friendly. Just wish we had a Sew You Can in Peebles!Helen
