I attended the Introduction Practical workshop last weekend and had the best day. Susan and Gillian were fantastic tutors from start to finish - friendly, supportive and so knowledgeable. The pre course theory/ information was really helpful and detailed. The workshop was really hands on from start to end, we all got upwards of 2hrs massage practice, with help whenever we needed it. The facilities were brilliant too. If you are considering NLSSM, this is your notice to say sign up. I can’t wait to start the diploma in March.

I am currently at NLSSM and I must say that my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The tutors at NLSSM are highly knowledgeable and undoubtedly among the best in the industry. Their expertise and passion for teaching shine through in every lesson.One of the standout features of NLSSM is the extensive range of learning opportunities available to students. I have just attended a one day refresher course at NLSSM and considered it money very well spent. The day was well paced and I was not overwhelemed with information. Lead tutor Susan and assistant Gillian were knowledgeable and professional. Sessions were delivered in a relaxed yet progressive manner. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is considering taking up massage or for those who might have done it in past but set it down for whatever reason.

I’ve trained at a number of schools for my various qualifications, culminating most recently in my Level 5 BTEC in Sports Massage & Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy. I researched other training providers but chose NLSSM as it seemed the most professional in its approach and publicly has the most active and supportive graduate community, which was important to me as whilst training is essential having a go to group when working is more so.The course started well and then Covid arrived! But the NLSSM team got to grips with the situation quickly, and despite all the challenges I completed my training only a month or so later than originally anticipated. The tutors were knowledgeable, and happy to share more than just topics from the curriculum, keeping the subject matter relevant to the real world. The shift to online learning was very well managed, and in fact some of it I hope will be kept as I feel it really added to the depth of learning that I enjoyed.Students ranged from the young to the old, some with no experience and some with years of experience, but the pace was well set and the disparity of knowledge well handled. Having now graduated I have made some lifelong friends from the course, and am enjoying the community of NLSSM graduates spread nationwide and further afield. I’d be happy to speak to anyone considering doing this course to answer any questions and assuage any doubts they might have, as this was the best training school I have attended.

I have just graduated from NLSSM on Sunday and I am absolutely ecstatic with my results. I could not have done it without the consistent support from Esther (my tutor) and all the teachers and people involved. The knowledge and experience I got was fantastic, I have learnt so much and cannot wait to continue learning and looking forward to my journey ahead. Everyone is friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. If you are considering committing to this course, book it! You will not regret it and you will not be disappointed!

I'm a current student of Level 5 Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Remedial Therapy approaching the end of a course. I knew from the beginning that I'm in a great learning environment. School has been recommended to me by the team of osteopaths I work with. Very knowledgeable and supportive along the course. Plenty of opportunities to work at the students clinic too. Great tutors, great atmosphere. Highly recommend to everyone wanting to begin their career in soft tissue therapy.

I started training with the NLSSM back in mid-2020 and now approach the end of the course.From start to finish, the course has been fun, enjoyable, challenging and incredibly rewarding. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and their passion for Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy is infectious! The support throughout has been exceptional, with help always to hand if needed. The NLSSM instructors create a very relaxed, open and cohesive environment with each session being an absolute pleasure to attend. The course I attended happened to fall throughout the pandemic and credit is due to the NLSSM for steering my class throughout these unprecedented times, ensuring constant communication and clarity throughout.I cannot speak more highly of the NLSSM. I have learnt so much and now I am excited to continue developing my skills and knowledge as a therapist. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking into becoming a soft tissue therapist. The course was a good mix of theory and practical, with excellent tutors who are supportive and knowledgeable. There are also excellent opportunities for work experience too.

I started studying at NLSSM in 2019. The course and classes were engaging, exceptional, challenging and fun and has given me the confidence to be a competent therapist. All the tutors were excellent and the teaching was high quality, with different methods of teaching, throughout the course. I could not recommend it more. The tutors were very understanding of my needs and spent time, to ensure you felt confident even in a one to one setting. I would recommend NLSSM to anyone interested in pursuing a future career in sports massage.
