Olive Lodge Blackpool

Had a booking for this weekend for 2 family rooms one got cancelled Wednesday night the other room got cancelled last night. I called hotel Wednesday daytime to ask about parking not once she he say room was cancelled. Avoid at all costs. If you want to be disappointed then this is the hotel for you. The new hotel im stopping in now says the owner does it all the time he always over books and takes the better price.

The location is great and was the main reason we selected the place. Inbetween the pleasure beach and coral island with a short Walk to the south and central piers. The buildings and streets in from the main road are getting worse each year we come which is a pitty. If the owners around don't put serious money into the back streets buildings it's just gonna get worse. Back to the lodge, the room had rubbish left and no toilet rolls but was quickly resolved. The room in this price bracket is adequate, if people expect to have brand new spotless décor, then spend more money in the big places. Shower worked no problems. Would have been good to have a kettle and tea/coffee mugs but I'm sure it would have been supplied if asked for. I had my expectations set accordingly before coming so wasn't disappointed. Kids had a great time so overall was a successful time away.

Only stayed one night, friendly owner on arrival, room was nice and clean with comfy beds so did all that was asked

if i could i would give 0 star. This hotel was the worst place i have ever been. there was alot of false advertising for everything there. The Rooms were dirty. the mirrors were dirty. the bathrooms were dirty. they didnt clean the rooms before we came. the hotel didnt even have reception.

currently staying in a family Room it is spotless and spacious!. Gentlemen who checked us in was polite and helpful even offerd to carry suitcases as we was on a floor with stairs. Beds are so comfy and the shower was piping hot kettle and tea making facilities where all there, hair dryer and towels where all included in the rooms . I think it's fantastic for the price we paid. perfect for a base for a family holiday on a budget .

Booked up almost 6 weeks ago & 5 days before going to stay get told it's overbooked & reservation cancelled. Host didn't contact with any reason . Wouldn't recommend to anyone if this how they treat guests. Guess they got a better offer.

I often travel around to uk. And rarely gave that much bad rate and comment. We booked 4 nights but can’t stand after 2 nights. First night heater was not working and I got cold weather was so cold. There is no room service to clean room after a night. And we are told there was sea view but not at all.

Booked this room at 3am, on the Saturday morning, whilst in a different hotel we hated. We’d thought the booking was for Saturday night. We arrived at the hotel for check in to find out we had messed up the booking and had booked for Sunday instead. Iqra and Adeel could not have helped us anymore. They were extremely kind and welcoming as soon as we walked through the door, and sorted out our mishap as soon as they could. The room we were given was extremely clean, very spacious with a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, the best we’ve had in a while, and the teas and coffee in the bedroom were spot on. 10/10 Service. We will be back!

Worst hotel ever. If it was possible to give a 0 star review I would. Not one good thing I could say about this hotel. It was dirty, stank, no necessities given and very much false advertisement on the pictures. Do not believe the pictures you see, there was dirty mirrors, dirty showers with bad water pressure, carpets were filthy, bedsheets and towels were stained as were the chairs and the wifi hardly works as well as very poor service location. Save your money go somewhere else.
