Great chips would recommend. You get loads in the large. Small was perfect size for me. It took awhile as everything seemed to be made fresh which is great, so go with plenty of time.

Service was poor. A young mother had to wait 30 mins for four large sausage and chips. When questioned, they were always waiting on chips. When we did get our order, it was cold. Plenty of staff but no organisation. Very expensive compared to other chippies. I feel they are living off their name and legacy.

Used to be a good chippy but waited 30 mins for 2 large chips for £7. I queried with them at the time about the small portion as they were saving all chips for restaurant look like they are using only 1 Fryer. Don't bother harrowside is much better.

Lovely food and excellent service. My dad left his hat there on our last visit. A lady very kindly posted it out to him and refused payment. Thank you for going above and beyond. Will definitely be back.

I had my babys gender reveal here last night, it was one of the most amazing days of my life. All the staff went above and beyond for me and my husband to ensure everything was so special for us, they made sure all my guests were happy and looked after , all the food was served at the same time, all staff looked after me all night making sure I was happy with everything they even decorated the room for me which I thought was the most thoughtful thing ever!The fish and chips where cooked to perfection , served with sausage and home made tartar sauce, mushy peas, gravy and my all time favourite proper chip shop curry sauce ! Through out the evening we got offered pots of teas and nice chilled drinks (which was what we requested) but they do also have a bar there!I must add that all my family and friends have said that food was one of the best theyve had in a long time and that they will be returning customers!!Again I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff!If you want a nice cosy and intimate function for a special accession i most definitely recommend this lovely family ran fish and chip restaurant!Big thanks from me, my husband and baby Young !

The oldest Fish and Chip shop/restaurant in Blackpool. Service was great, lovely chat with the waiting staff...most importantly though the fish and chips, steak pudding and kids meals were all excellent...i didn't eat them all! Portion sizes are perfect too. My eldest also says, the best milkshakes ever!
