Awful customer service , I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and suddenly because I bring in 4x ps4 controllers and 2x ps5 controllers you’re threatening me with bulk discount buy price , you a disgrace to Sheffield . The manager wasn’t helpful at all , i as joked “I’ll get my friends to come and trade them for me instead “Your till person took that seriously and ran straight over to your manager who I called out to speak to .Then he said I was breaking a law giving my goods to someone else to bring in for me . Listen if I gift someone my goods and then they decide to sell them to you then that’s no fraud or breaking any law , and if they want to gift cash back to me that is also not breaking a lawWhat is breaking a law is you giving customers 1p for games and moviesAlso serving underage people which I’ve seen with my own eyes in the last 2 weeks here and also OTHER people using OTHER peoples details to trade in which I witnessed with my own eyesI’ve traded in thousand and thousands over the years and because this one minimum wage employee couldn’t take a joke , you’ve lost a lot of customEnjoy

My autistic son loves this place and so do I. He has a special interest in technology and gaming, and the low prices means we can buy stuff to add to his collection without spending too much. The staff are brilliant and always happy to help locate stuff if they don't have in store

The games are usually cheap like the last of us part 2 £35 on PlayStation but £15 at cex: I would reccomend waiting a couple months after they get expensive or new games in store due to the fact they lose value quickly, for example the quarry was £48 pounds there and is £60 on PlayStation store but is now £12-15. DVDs are usually cheap and phones and audio devices are not cheap but are great bargains for the original price. However when there is a long queue it defo stays long due to slow staff but that isn’t their fault since they all doing certain stuff like getting stuff from traders. Packaging for click and collects and selling items to buyers or stocking shelves. Would not recommend going there during Black Friday 2 weeks before Christmas and after Christmas wait a week or two for people to slowly start dissapearing from the shop to ensure getting items and not having to wait in long queues

I was helped this morning by Tanya and it was such a helpful and easy experience. I don't know lots about tech or what I needed or what was possible. Tanya helped me so much, was very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for a great experience

Prices are often fair when buying but their trade in is quite poor, most of the time they'll only offer less than a quarter of the value of the item you're trading in. I also often check then discs for scratches when buying items and sometimes they get cleaned which is nice to offer. I like coming in here to browse but don't really buy from here as often any more.

High prices for used goods but great warranty, credit last forever also so that's great.But my GOD the service is so painfully slow, 2 people Infront of me and it takes 25 minutes!? While 20 staff are behind the counter seemingly doing nothing? What a strange way of working! I actively avoid buying anything now if there is even a small queue.

I purchased Bose ear pods and Sony ear pods today. I am very impressed with the quality.The Bose were £100.Sony £50.Both have excellent sound quality.Staff are very friendly and helpful.I'm definitely going back for more bargains.
