Helmingham Hall

We visited Hemingham Hall illuminations 2 years ago but this time it was even better. Turning up to find the car park had changed to stones from last time getting stuck in the mud upon leaving was a delight to see. From the entrance at the start to the end was absolutely stunning. So many photo opportunities which was nice and I loved how it was all one way you weren't walking into anyone walking the other way. So much detail must go into that it's amazing. The kids loved melting the marshmallows over the firepit and the adults loved the cheeky drink of mulled wine, couldn't fault anything.

Our second year visiting this wonderful local Christmas experience. It's a joy from start to finish, even the apocalyptic rain last night couldn't spoil it! Hot chocolate and toasties in Wright's, just reward!

We walked around in -2 c temperatures with frost on the trees with my 92 year old Mum and she loved it! The grounds are cleverly divided into area each with their own theme and atmosphere! Everyone should experience a night light walk, really special experience whatever your age!

What a fabulous light trail. Staff were friendly and helpful, the little stalls/shops/boutiques had lovely items in. The caramelised almonds were yummy, and the mulled wine was so good. The lights were beautifully thought out and planned and we had fun spying all the fairies hidden in the lanterns and there were some great photo ops around the trail too. You could appreciate how much hard work everyone put in to the event. Would certainly see it again.

A truly magical experience that has become a new family tradition. The trail is magical from the very first moment. With well signed ‘photo opportunities’ and incredible landscaping. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food and drink top notch. I would highly recommend a visit and will be returning again next year.

Well done Helmingham Hall events team. First time for us at this event and it didn’t disappoint.The parking up was easy with really helpful staff and the trail was well thought out and maintained. We went at 7pm and walked around pretty much on our own most of the time, it wasn’t congested at all.The lights were excellent and timed really well with the background ambient music. There was so much to look at and we had a slight fog which really enhanced the effects.All of the staff to a person were very friendly and helpful despite the bitterly low temperature. Well done on your energy.Wonderful location, amazing grounds, very well put together event. Highly recommended.

We had a Wonderful time seeing the Beautiful Christmas lights at Helmingham Hall. The complimentary mulled Wine was Lovely. We enjoyed Hot chocolate, Hot Dogs and even making s'mores. We even bought a few things from the shops at the end.It was a Great experience and a Fantastic thing to do in the build up to Christmas.
