Howard Court Care Home

I have been a Carer for 29 years,I have worked in large homes and also in the community but never in my life have I had such a lovely job as when I worked at Howard Court. I worked there before during and after Covid and in all my years in care this has been my favourite place.From the management team who run such a fabulous home,through to the kitchen staff who make all the fabulous food fresh each day.The carers are amazing and go above and beyond in their jobs to make sure that all needs are met and that it is a persons home and not A HOME.All the staff are friendly and there is a brilliant rapour between staff and service users Families,they enjoy the birthday afternoon teas to the arts and craft sessions,there is something for them to do every day.I moved away and unfortunately I had to leave Howard Court but I will never forget my time there and I still go back to see the staff who became great friends and the service users who are lucky enough to enjoy their days there. Anyone who is looking for somewhere for parents or relatives I would highly recommend it or anyone thinking about joining the amazing team of staff I say jump at the chance,it was the best time of my life and I miss them all so much.

A small elderly care home. My mother decided to move here 6 months ago (she is 96), and loves it. The care given is excellent and the place is so friendly and welcoming. I call in most days to visit her and have nothing but praise for the care staff and managers.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from a member of staff towards an elderly member of the public and myself; a carer in uniform regarding access past the property - apparantly they own the lane and therefore entitled to block access to the public in an extremely rude manner. If this how staff behave in the street, how do they behave behind closed doors?
