Best b&b in belfast. One of the best guesthouses I ever visit in my life. The host of the guesthouse was a very kind and helpful person and a marvelous chefcook. What a lovely delicious breakfast. The room was very clean and charming romantic. The guesthouse is in a lovely tranquil area. Absolutely marvelous. Greetings, John and Odalys.

Staying at the Historic Elegance Inn was like being transported back to a more refined era. The inn's period furnishings and architecture exuded timeless charm. Our room was comfortable and full of character. The innkeeper's passion for history enriched our visit, offering fascinating insights into the area's past. The central location made exploring the historic district a breeze. A truly unique and enriching stay.

We landed in Belfast on Mary's doorstep and felt immediately at home. After a warm welcome we settled into our comfortable, spacious room with large windows, delightful bathroom and sleep-inducing beds. All the amenities were taken care of and we loved the location. Close enough to walk into Belfast if you wish or take the bus with stops just outside the door. The rectory is a wonderful old place and is full of character. Our breakfast each day was delicious and hot! We really felt like friends instead of guests. Mary was most helpful with tourist information and was so personable. We will stay again on our next visit!

Great location near downtown Belfast. The house is located on a busy street so you will hear some road noise even with the Windows closed. It was nice that each room had its own bath room which isn't the case in many b&bs. The bedroom we stayed in was good sized. There were a ton of rooms and we were all the way on the third floor.Check-in was a breeze and the male owner provided us with dinner locations near where we were headed out to that night.Breakfast was quite good and there were a number of meals to choose from plus and assortment of other items provided in addition to the meal you chose (i.e. yogurt and granola).Overall a great experience.

Fantastic hotel, super convenient if you're visiting the US embassy as it's so close and the people at The Old Rectory are so nice, really welcoming and warm.Loved breakfast, the food was amazing, freshly cooked and they tailored it to what I specifically wanted. Would definitely visit again if I'm in Belfast

We were not disappointed. The house is very cosy and comfortable and the breakfast every morning was freshly cooked to order and could not be faulted. Even home made yoghurt and marmalade. Gerry is a talented chef and also gave us some very useful tips for sightseeing in Belfast.

My wife and I came to Belfast with our 2 month old to visit family and relax. We loved our stay. Gerry the head chef is a lovely man and all our food for breakfast both days was gorgeous. The house is old (obviously) but well maintained. We had two very comfortable nights here and the location is great. We would definitely stay there again.

This place is dated, in severe need of good seeing clean and in my opinion should have been closed years ago. All the owner went on about was how the troubles had depressed her so much it made her ill and considering the name, you’d think the vicar from 200 years ago had just stepped out for a moment. The rooms are dated, shabby and the owner herself went on about is how her disability is hampering her ability to do the job. Didn’t make me feel welcome at all. Really put a downer on my visit to be honest and I left the place feeling absolutely depressed. If I were you, I would chose somewhere else in the city, don’t waste your money here.

Could not have been more perfect. The host, Gerry is a total gem! Brilliant historic structure. Loved the sitting room and fireplace. Over the top and delicious made-to-order breakfast every morning. The place was cozy, yet spotlessly clean. So warm and hospitable. Gerry helped me plan out my adventures, and gave me lots of tips, ideas, and helpful hints along the way. Beautiful, upscale neighborhood. Got a room with a lovely bathtub! Large room, adorable bathroom, and bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. Gorgeous views out my windows. An Old Rectory epitomizes my vision of Irish charm. Bus going into the city center is just across the street and the bus coming back drops you off right at the driveway! So convenient! Anyone going to Belfast or the surrounding areas should book a room here! Loved every minute of my stay! Thank you for making my stay in Northern Ireland such a special one, Gerry!

I cannot praise this wonderful bed and breakfast highly enough 100 stars would be nearer the mark. From our arrival our host was extremely kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are really cosy and beautifully clean with everything you need for your stay. The breakfast is divine do yourself a favour try everything on the menu if you can you won’t be disappointed. I recommend the Baked eggs. All the ingredients are locally sourced and fresh.A little way out of the city but the bus service is very regular and a taxi not too expensive.I look forward to my next visit.
