Absolutely no customer care whatsoever! House wasn’t snagged or cleaned before we moved in. Saleswoman made us list all the issues as she clearly wasn’t interested in doing it, turned out to be 8 pages long! Had to make countless calls and send email after email to try and get them to solve many issues. Have since learned we weren’t the only ones to suffer on the estate. What should’ve been a dream home turned into a nightmare. Would never buy from Chestnuts again!

We’ve had such an awful experience with Chestnut homes , unfortunately. We’ve been warned by many prior to approaching Chestnut Homes, but never quite took heed to their advise.There was unnecessary and undue pressure placed on us throughout the early stages. We were forced to pull out our offer. We had lost nearly 50% of our money in the process due to their unclear contract, which they themselves had confessed was not ‘black and white’. I suppose this is part of their profit making- scheme that we were unfortunately at the other end, paying the price for.There was no apology or any sort of human-ly ‘sorry to see you go , or how can we make this better’. I’m glad I’m not bound to them in any way. This was surely an ‘close escape’ as far as I am concerned. I know for a fact that we withdrew before we had gotten stuck with them for a long period of time!

Our experience with Chestnut homes has been very pleasant from the beginning, we started living in our new home almost a month ago and it is flawless so far! Everything works well and looks super nice. Julie from sales has been really lovely and helpful too. I would buy again :)

Can't fault chestnut at all. Out of the three new homes I have bought in the last few years, this has been by far the best built one, even the few snags i have had have been sorted out quickly. The sales staff were very helpful the whole purchasing process, making sure that even when the chain collapesd on my sale, they did all they could to wait for me to sell my house again without loosing my reservation. I would recommend checking them out if you are looking for a new house.

Myself and partner have just bought out first house and could not be happier with the development, house and overall buying experience. The sale advisors are lovely, Keiran helped throughout the normally stressful process of buying a house and made it as easy as possible for us. Keiran kept in contact through the process which helped so much especially when we were getting close to exchanging and completing. The communication is fantastic overall, any issues I have are dealt with efficiently and professionally. Could not be happier, looking forward to many happy years at the meadows. I would recommend buying a house with Chestnut Homes as the quality of their homes are really good and the service they provide is great. We were well looked after during and after sales. A special thank you to Kieran as he really helped us a great deal even though he wasn't directly involved with our sale.

Moved in at the beginning of February this year and have been very impressed. The staff in sales are all very helpful and all happy to answer any questions. The estate is still a building site but its always as clean and tidy as it can be. Looking forward to seeing the road completed so the walk to the pub is a bit shorter in the future!
