The heart of the English establishment, this institution has seen several prime ministers and prominent public figures educated here. Steeped in proud history and traditions, the location and buildings are second to none and well worthwhile visiting to take in the atmosphere of the environment, albeit many areas are obviously off limits to the general public. Was impressed with everything here on our visit and it certainly left it's mark on me. An amazing place to visit!

During my time at Eton, some of the most important things I learned are that Australia is wider than the moon, and if you're peeling oranges, wash your hands before you handle the gerbil.

In 2023 they still educate kids in a very Eastern Asian way, with a text book based education, this is very old fashions and does not equip students with necessary skills to cope with the modern world.

A charming old English boys school. It has a beautiful surrounding, with lots of paths to wander down and benches to sit on. There are so many beautiful flowers in the summertime and the Riverside walk is a favourite with many locals. It's also the most scenic walk into Windsor.

Only did a drive by on the hop on hop off bus tour. Buildings look beautiful and there are tours available.

A wonderful environment - so full of charm and character. The College grounds were closed to the public today so that was disappointing (though understandable). The town is a breath of fresh air from big box stores and chains.

Who knew that a combination of tailcoats, waistcoats, and cravats could make teenagers look like miniature versions of James Bond? I half expected them to whip out a martini shaker during lunch break and discuss the finer points of espionage.As I strolled through the picturesque grounds, I couldn't help but marvel at the sheer amount of history seeping from every brick and blade of grass. Eton has seen more prestigious alumni than a red carpet event at Buckingham Palace. From prime ministers to literary geniuses, this place churns out success stories like a well-oiled aristocratic machine.But let's not forget the academic rigor that lies beneath the polished facade. Eton is renowned for its rigorous curriculum, where Latin is spoken like a native tongue and quadratic equations are solved before breakfast. These students could probably calculate the GDP of a small country while juggling a set of fine bone china cups.And what about the extracurricular activities? Eton offers a smorgasbord of options, from rowing on the Thames to polo matches fit for royalty. It's like a country club on steroids, where sports are taken as seriously as the crown jewels.
