The Fox and Goose
We'd never been to The Fox and Goose before but it was a midway meeting point for a family lunch. I'm so pleased we found it. The food was extremely tasty and well presented by staff who obviously enjoyed their work.We had 6 different mains,all were very well received. 5 different desserts ,with Bannofee pie being pronounced the best ever. ( I think my cherry roulade was the best !!!)We will definately drive here to eat again. Well done.

The Fox and Goose
Nice atmosphere and quite a few people eating early on a Saturday night. We will be back to try the food! The garden is well maintained with a small kids area, the equipment is fine and in good condition but not the most exciting. It is still the best pub garden for families we have found in the Salisbury area so far after trying many this summer.

This is a great place for quality pub grub, there is an extensive range of meals to suit all tastes. The food arrives hot and well cooked. The portion sizes are more than adequate with just enough room for a delicious pudding. There is a really friendly atmosphere here with plenty of locals sitting down for their meals, always an indication of good value.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the pub, plenty to eat. Very helpful friendly staff.It was lovely to be able to take our dog in with us. Very dog friendly!Would definitely recommend!

Had lunch here today. Friendly staff, nice table looking out onto pretty garden, really lovely fresh cooked main and a yummy desert. Good portion sizes and efficient service. Will come here next time I am in the area for sure. Lots of parking.

We came across this pub while driving to the coastal area. We absolutely enjoyed Sunday roast. The food was delicious! We were not only satisfied with the service but also the staff members. The price was resonable. Overall, 10 out of 10!

Lovely food, we visited twice in two days. The food was good, the portion sizes were fine, the service pleasant and the atmosphere was one of a traditional English countryside pub.My only real gripe was the sticky tables, the tables were clean it must be the cleaning agent reacting to the varnish.

First time visit, everyone was very friendly who works there.They have a large menu choice with special board , and as we went on a Sunday, we were treated to a very enjoyable Sunday roast.Would definitely go there again when passing that way

Good home cooked food. Very good service as finished plates were removed quickly which I like. Asked for small portions of chips and this was done and charged less so happy with that. A lovely dining room with well spaced out tables and nice atmosphere.
