Very glad this place has closed down, the blatant disregard for the animals health and wellbeing was disgusting and why i assume they have closed

Unwelcoming and rude! We went it to the shop today to look at potentially adding to our tropical fish collection. I have never felt more unwelcome in a place of business in my life, to be greeted with ‘where are you going’ in an condescending tone, followed by being shouted at that the ‘reptile center is closed’ despite not even mentioning it! The shop is in utter disarray and looks like someone’s garage that’s just been burgled, much like the look shop keepers face. Wouldn’t bother going there as they clearly don’t like/want any customers!

A wired rope stopped us from entering the shop just because there was another customer in the building. Then a sign to say please wear a mask because our staff have not been vaccinated. Well we have so please don’t ask me to wear a mask just because your staff refuse to have the covid 19 vaccine. This used to be the most amazing shop, won’t be back again.

We came in today as a friend had recommended the shop.Sadly we weren’t able to go in any further than the entrance to browse as we were told we had to social distance and that the reptile area was closed to children because of Covid (posting this in April 2022).I have been researching axolotls for 5 months and wanted to show my children them in person (we’d been told the shop had some) but sadly we didn’t get the chance to continue our research before we considered getting one. The lady said we could look in through the window from outside (it was pouring with rain so we decided not to!!) We have 3 fish tanks (one tropical aquarium) so was also hoping to look around for some new aquarium goods. It seems browsing isn’t allowed at this shop at the current time. Or maybe it was because I had 2 children with me?Such a shame, I am sure we’ll find somewhere else to continue our research.

I bought a tank for my daughter in June from Pets at home unaware of of Pentangle. When I went in for advice after my ammonium levels rose they were initially very helpful. The shop was recommended by a friend. I was advised to move up to a 60 litre tropical tank which they sold me. Unfortunately my shrimp started dying and when I went back was told the filter was no good which came with the tank they sold me and I would need a new one. Ehiem. Surprised at this as they sold it to me. In the space of 3 weeks all my shrimp and snails died. Ammonia levels through the roof. I went back to the shop for help and was met by a very rude employee who said what do you expect if you buy fish from pets at home. She walked off and was very rude. I'm so shocked. This was a birthday present for my daughter. Just hoping I can sort the tank out before the fish start dieing. Wish I'd never bought the new tank and so shocked at my treatment.With regards to your reply. I didn't seek assistance else where. We originally purchased from PAH. After visiting you when I had problems and given your advice we didn't go back. The blood worms we were told to give originally 6 months prior at the beginning when starting out and I was unaware that this was an issue and stopped when you told me to. I rang the shop and they said someone would get in touch with me when I continued to have problems. This took weeks and then I received 1 text only and when I messaged back didn't get a reply so wouldn't say I received help after hours. Ultimately I don't think staff should be rude in any situation especially when there trying to resolve a problem. The whole situation has been very distressing. Thank you for your feedback

Do not rely on the advertised opening times. Several times over the past couple of months we have turned up to find the shop shut. We have even phoned beforehand to confirm they are open only find them shut 10mins later during their advertised opening times. When we have found them open, the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Not sure how they run a business this way. Will be going to Global Geckos in Windlesham - they know how to treat customers.

I bought my husband a common musk for his birthday as a surprise. I knew nothing about how to take care of the musk nor what to buy, luckily the guy that was there knew a lot! He helped me buy the necessities needed for the musk and helped me pick the cutest little guy! He also helped me to deliver the products to my apartment (as I didn’t have a car) and helped with the set up! He’s truly awesome! Love this place, definitely coming back again! My husband was extremely happy too!

This place no longer exists it used to be Knaphill from where the pictures were taken. It has never been in Brookwood. The address 228 Conaught Road does not exist!! It should be removed from google maps.
