Shocking service. The staff who answer the phone need urgent customer service training. Rude, arrogant to name a few. This is a in hospital pharmacy and when you see the number of 1 star reviews then clearly Lloyd's should be reviewing their staff. They constantly tell lies about calling you and dont chase up prescription. I will yet again be emailing Lloyds about the service and staff.

This branch of Lloyds Pharmacy is vastly undervalued and oversubscribed catering for all manner of people directly and indirectly connected with the hospital. I visited this week and whilst my wait time was relatively short, all the staff were working flat out. The previous two reviews I think are totally unfair and whilst you might have a longer wait for your prescription, or the staff might not be as crawl-up-your-backside polite as you'd like but they all appear to work bloody and should deservedly be given some slack!

Today we spent 45 minutes waiting for a box of tablets. All the seats were taken, people queuing inside and around the entrance. I handed in my prescription and was told it would be 20 minutes so went for a coffee, returned and it still wasn't ready. FORTY FIVE minutes later it was handed to me. It's a tiny pharmacy for such a large number of patients and we have no choice but to wait - not as though we can go elsewhere. It's not a large enough pharmacy and obviously understaffed. Between one person being handed her prescription and the next patient, there was a 15 minute delay whereafter the next person was handed a tiny bag with what looked like a box of pills! Why 15 minutes for that?After being in the hospital for over two hours (no complaints there though) and then having to wait 45 minutes for a prescription is not acceptable.

I went into this pharmacy today to fill a hospital prescription and was most impressed with the pharmacist on duty. Not only was she very professional and clearly extremely competent, she was also cheery and friendly with every person, despite it being a very busy time. An absolute pleasure to observe. The service was efficient too. Although there was a wait due to the number of people bringing in prescriptions, the team got through the dispensing very quickly.

Appalling service and lack of courtesy to patients collecting medication.

Try being a patient waiting to go home and having to wait for them to send the medicines to the ward. Awful and no empathy for people who have been poorly enough to need hospital treatment and just want to go home when they are well enough for discharging.

1 poor woman on the counter struggling, 3 pharmacists and someone stocking shelves. It's not enough staff to deal with the number of patients as the hospitals main pharmacy! Crazy! So yes, expect to wait an hour for 1 item

Just spoke to the lovely lady pharmacist here as I have to take a new medication I am frightened of taking and she spent time on the phone with talking me through the medication and the side effects. I cannot tell you how much I needed this conversation and she was so patient, did not rush me and really understood my worry. I need this medication for a medical procedure I desperatley need and I feel able to give it a go. Thank you so much

Disappointing service 30 mins wait to be told the items weren’t available.Retuned today to find the external shutters locked before the actual pharmacy closing time; this was despite assurances during my call immediately beforehand. I would highly recommend a review of the Pharmacy in store systems and intensive training for counter staff who unfortunately were unhelpful and rude throughout.
