Flaxbourne Gardens

Recently attended a wedding here, although the location was stunning, staff were very rude. The marquee was very shoddy and had seen better days. Paul and Becky were very rude and I heard them shouting at guests at one point. Would avoid booking.

Beautiful setting for a wedding. However a few let downs. The owner Paul is very rude. Shouting and getting aggressive to the groom. The food was a complete let down. Only a tiny bit of food was served and they was happy to take it away without offering seconds. To which later we found out they share it amongst the staff even though they was asked to leave it out so people could help themselves. Becky, the wedding planner, didn’t do her job. Just standing behind the bar all day. Thank god for the photographer who made the whole day for the bride and groom.

This is the most amazing venue of you want a whimsical, fun, beautiful, fairy tale, outdoor wedding. It gave me and my now husband goosebumps when we went to have a look around. We knew INSTANTLY this was the one. It suited us so well being a couple of nerds that love all this stuff. We knew it would fit perfectly.Becky was amazing from start to finish, and by finish I mean like was still amazing after the whole thing. She was completely on it with help and advice with everything we could possibly need. She made us feel so at ease and comfortable, and we didn’t feel any stress prior at all.The food and catering was amazing. The bar staff were absolutely fantastic! Making sure we were all stocked up! The girls were great when I came over, I barely even had to ask and they had drinks coming for me.Everyone who came to our wedding was bowled over by how beautiful the venue was, and how much there was to see.It was great for all ages, we had our 2 year old and friends and nieces and nephews from all ages and there was so much to explore they loved it.

The venue was absolutely amazing! But the 1 star is for the food and catering which was very disappointing! For the price paid, the food was of very poor quality and quantity. Then at the end of the evening I went back to pick up my husband and grandchildren, and they locked the gate without checking that everybody had vacated the premises. It was such a shame because the venue is such a lovely setting for a wedding!

Omg just incredible, beautiful venue, Paul’s food is unreal and Becky is just so lovely. I’d love to do it all again here. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding back in September, after 2 postponements and what can I say that hasn't already been said about the wonderful Beckie and Paul, we had a travel/disney wedding and they helped us through everything, we can't thank them enough! Our day was everything and more, we couldn't of wished for a better day and it made it so much more special to have our two pups their with us too! We have had nothing but praise from friends and family about all the staff, the location and just the whole overall experience they had at flaxbourne as it was a first for everyone at our wedding.Thank you for sticking by us for the 3 long years Beckie and Paul, we will forever be grateful for you both, for giving us our most special and precious day at Flaxbourne! Xx

Attended a wedding here recently. Nice location but unfortunately a few let downs. The toilets are located across the grass which resulted in lots of ruined shoes and were quite unhygenic. Not enough food was served and staff were quite rude. Would avoid

Gorgeous venue but the catering staff were greedy , rude literally stole food meant for guests by taking it away too soon, also wedding coordinator was useless when I arrived I had no idea where to go as there was no one official to welcome guests. Having to park in a field was not the best option either .If you do get married here use your own catering and wedding coordinator as the ones here are just horrendous

I have so many beautiful photos of this venue, however i think that this sneak peak is inspiring enough. This location is stunning, we attended a wedding here and it has to be one of the best weddings I have ever attended, amazing place. Congratulations to the owners, you really have the most amazing gem of a venue. I hope to return one day.
