I can't recommend Calum enough. He has done a truly first-rate job for us during a major house extension, including a rewire of the old parts of the property. He engaged enthusiastically when discussing what we wanted to achieve, contributes logistical and design ideas thoughtfully, many of which we adopted rather than our own. He is thorough, honest and trustworthy and we couldn't have felt more comfortable with him working in our home for such a long job. Thank you once again!

After purchasing a flat from a dodgy landlord, we suspected there would be issues hidden beneath the surface. The electrics came off a very old fuse box so we asked Calum to complete an EICR inspection. The result? Not good. Lots of C1s. Calum strongly recommended getting the property rewired, but wasn't pushy or salesy. In fact, he recommended another company that could complete the work faster if we required a short turnaround.After obtaining quotes from the company Calum recommended and some alternatives, we opted to go with Electriccal. Calum helped us plan the rewire, highlighting efficiencies (e.g. back to back sockets to minimise damage), opportuities (future proofing the bathroom with a fan isolator), and ways of working (using our loft access to avoid lifting all the floorboards).Work began on 16 October and we received regular updates as it progressed. Everything proceeded as planned and without issue. We re-entered the flat on 20 October. Damage and disruption was minimal with walls ready for a plasterer.We have additional projects planned and will be using Calum for future work. We highly recommend his services to others.
