Having a very chill afternoon with my most favourite drink, chocolate mike tea with chewy tapioca, such a refreshing, mouthful of chocolate tastes excellent.

So the bubble tea is still the same as it is in every other shop. But the lady who serves there is an absolute terror to deal with. She is so rude and entitled, doesn’t even make eye contact and acts like she is doing you a favour. I don’t know how to identify her but from the accent seemed like she is East European. Just mentioning this to clarify that not all the staff are rude.

Forget bubble tea - these people don't even know basic customer service esp. if you are new to the whole bubble thing which is an utterly meaningless and tasteless concoction in the first place. The burly lady at the counter served with a cold lifeless face as we struggled to make our order without looking awkward. There was no help whatsoever in choosing the drink as we had never tried one. After charging £10 for 2 regular drinks we were left with an equally unresponsive girl who prepared the tea for us all the while being stared down by this extremely rude female. Not sure what our mistake was to be treated this way when all we did was order some food.Word of advice for the unprofessional staff at Bubble Ci-Tea, if you don't know the value of customers, you shouldn't be in this business. Losers!

This was my fist time - Service barista(?) was asked a question and he goes - “Just tap your card”. So this was also my last time. This would be considered rude in normal social settings- but very poor customer service besides being rude for a business transaction.The drink is sugar syrup with flavoured tapioca pearls…best avoided( this thought is not influenced by the rudeness of the server)

Lovely place and service. They have a wide range of choice of popping pearls and tea and extremely kind staff members who are friendly and helpful. I ended up dropping my drink which unfortunately shattered (the plastic cup) and despite offering to pay for a new one as it was my own fault, they remade my drink for me for free. I think the only improvement they could have is a proper shop to sit down and have the tea in (though there is a small bar at the back). Would very much recommend!

Our first experience and last with bubble citea, just because we found a mood killer lady as staff, we ordered two milk tea regular & large, later she serve us two regular fruit tea And then she was not accepting her mistake without even making eye contact she was so rude.Time around 15:40 on 19/10/23

This review is service -based. I came to try boba for the first time and the service was not the best. The waiting time in the queue is very long. I had tried to get a drink there before but got sick of waiting so left. When I came back again there was only one person in front of me and it still took ages to take their order and then the person on the till went to make their drink which took a while too. Also, the manager working when I went was very rude which made the experience a bit bad. I had the dirty milk tea which tasted of brown sugar and the tapioca was fine, it’s soaked in brown sugar syrup so has some flavour too. I didn’t like it but that’s just preference but it really did taste of what it said on the menu.

By far the best bubble tea place in Reading! The staff are so nice and the drinks taste so good, very fast service! 5*’s but definitely deserve more

First time I had tried bubble tea wow its amazing I had strawberry bubble tea will be back to have more. The man was pleasant who served me and it was not a bad price compared to other shops who sell it .
