Klosen - Windows

Klosen windows were chosen for the first phase of our glazing requirements in our new home that is a full restoration project. The ordering, measuring and quotation were all done swiftly.On the arranged day the fitters arrived on time and in a very smart liveried vehicle. They unloaded the windows and a huge array of tools and laid out a work area in front of our property.The work progressed well and the fitters were very careful in protecting our home. They found that our opening for the main lounge window was not square and spent time positioning the window to make sure it looked correct. The whole job finished about an hour later than expected but the fitters were great at clearing up and asked us to inspect and check each unit that had been installed. A great job by committed professional tradesmen.We only had contact with Audrey and Cieran from the office side of the business, but both were very helpful, efficient and a pleasure to deal with.The product looks superb and we will be calling Klosen when we get around to phase two which will include glazing for our new sun room.

It's rare to deal with companies like Klosen these days. It felt like every part of the company knew what was happening and required of them.We were very impressed by the fitters who put in a long days of work each day. They also took ownership of the installation and had a pride in their workmanship. As for the actual windows and doors they are superb. I have no hesitation in recommending Klosen

Klosen to the rescue!We had a pair of large sliding doors installed recently by Klosen and we're absolutely delighted with both the product and with Klosen. Prior to engaging Klosen we had contracted a different company (Alumen/Panoramic) who strung us along for two years during which we endured lies after lies and had to stop the build of our extension. We spent two winters with no back doors, exposed to the elements, and we have young kids... Once Klosen came into the picture, we were immediately reassured by Kieran and his team that we had landed on the right company to complete the job that Panoramic could not. Not only have Klosen manufactured and installed a super set of sliding doors, they actually corrected and completed the installation of the few windows that Panoramic installed shoddily. We are pleased, relieved, and believe me, we did proper due diligence before settling on Klosen to get our lives back on track.

We investigated a number of suppliers for our triple track sliding black aluminium doors and window. Klosen not only were responsive to all our requests but provided a local reference site for us to visit. It was clear from the personal reference that Klosen provided excellent customer care.The quality of the product and installation was exceptional. The installers were respectful and skilful and even sorted a problem with our front door (supplied by someone else!).We now just have to decide when to get Klosen to change the rest of our windows and doors!

Thank you Klosen.I had a basic idea what I wanted to achieve in terms of appearance, but did not know if this was possible. I invited a number of window companies to view and come up with a design that would enhance the appearance of my home.Some of window companies failed to turn up, other turned up and failed to follow up with design or quote. Some even found the task far too involved, so declined to quote.Klosen took it all in their stride and created beautiful windows and doors to a high standard that are a delight to return to each day. The issue is now, my front door is now looking slightly out of sync with the new windows. I will therefore need to return to Klosen.

BUYER BEWARE.UNRELIABLE, DECEITFUL, ABUSIVEFollowing a review left on Google 3 months ago to which I hoped Klosen would have wished to rectify, Klosen have still NOT completed our project. We have made several calls and emails over the last few months and have been met with false promises every time. On one occasion that Klosen have returned to site they still did not have all the items needed to complete the project and my subsequent call to them was met with foul language and them hanging up the phone on me. We were left with no glass in some of the windows for months and since the glass was installed we have broken glass that has not been replaced and none of the windows have been sealed or finished.Following Klosen recently failing to respond to my email request I have had to inform them of our intention to instruct a third party to complete the project and pursue legal action against them. No surprise that I received no response to this either.PLEASE STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.Original review.Is anyone else out there experiencing supply and installation issues with Klosen. We placed an order at the beginning of July and only have half of the order installed with one excuse after the other for not completing the project.

We had 2 large sliding patio doors installed by Klosen just over a year ago and still today they do not operate as they should do. They allow the sliding rails to fill with water inside the property when it rains and make a horrible squeaking sound when it is windy. The customer service from the start has been awful and to date, there has been no resolution offered. Now we are having the support of the original manufacturer in Spain, so I can categorically say that I would not buy any product from Klosen again.

Klosen have posted a reply to my Review but it is completely false and it is misleading to any member of the public.The doors were rejected some 4 1/2 months after ordering against a quoted 6-7 week Lead time.I don't believe that any reasonable person would accept such a protracted delay, particularly in the absence of information from the supplier.Whoever wrote the Klosen reply seems content to grossly distort events rather than admit the truth.Original Review:Today [08 October 2018] it is a full 10 months since we placed our order for aluminium sliding doors, and we have paid Klosen their full cost of £5,586-70They have never notified us of a delay in supplying the doors we have paid them for, nor given any reason for delay other than the death of the Managing Director's mother, which was irrelevant to our contract.We placed them under a reasonable deadline to supply the doors and following their failure to meet that deadline we rejected the doors and demanded the full refund we are legally entitled to receive.Klosen Glazing Systems have failed to refund a single penny.We have now had to take them to Court to get back the money they owe us, at additional cost to them.The attached photo shows the 'temporary' installation they provided for what was at most supposed to be 'a couple of weeks' [as at 08/3/2019]Klosen would have less than a single star if that option were available.

Fantastic service, product and installation crew.The Klosen team have been absolutely superb from beginning to end.Our project suffered delay after delay having originally apppointed a large window company in Leeds. Suffice to say six months of hassle / loss of money later they went into bankruptcy - Christmas 2019.Wiithin weeks the Klosen team had designed, manufactured and installed a complex sliding door system and replaced faulty windows from the previous firm. Working through some of the worst winter weather to ensure our home was water tight and warm.The place looks fantastic now and with all honesty we cant rate these guys highly enough. Very happy to speak to any potential customer or indeed show you their work, anytime.A

Whilst having our house built, it was very helpful to have such knowledgeable advice from people who really know what they are doing. Our windows and doors are perfect, were fitted in a timely manner with no issues. I can highly recommend Klosen to anyone who wants to fit new windows/doors or upgrade their current ones.
