Simply dreadful service. Failed to return calls or emails or anything approaching even the bare minimum of decent customer service. Avoid

Very happy with the service we have received from Penmans and Christie in particular. We instructed Penmans as our normal solicitor was not an approved lender. We were a little worried using a new firm at first, but Christie made the whole process smooth and stress free. Her communication was excellent and we are particularly impressed at how she continued to push and chase all parties to get completion over the line. We hope to definitely use Christie again for our future property transactions. Thank you

They always believe the assessments of professionals. And don't believe you. At first they were so helpful couldn't fault then but they believed the social worker and guardian from cafcass over myself. Turns out the psychological assessment I received was wrong. I have reactive depression caused by trauma of not only losing my babies to adoption is and facing the thought was possibly having cancer. Turns out the way I was during assessments is pretty normal and being dependent on others is normal. I have lost my babies for ever over them not representing me in a correct way. All I ever did was try and get my babies home but a horrible ex. bad assessments and being really ill. According to nirse my new partner is friends with I would never of been able to pass my assessments just due to the fact I was so ill. As most illnesses can effect you in so many ways and can affect your cognitive functions

As an experienced buyer & seller of properties, dealing with this incompetent firm was far & away the worst I've come across. Lost documents, nearly jeopardised our purchase. More than happy to take your money however, at that they excel!

If you're a private paying client avoid giving your money to this business on all fronts. A shoddy service on both court hearing dates. Also some charges are not justified rather just charged as thats what they would get away with when claiming on behalf of someone whos eligible for legal aid. Happy to discuss with anyone.

Been using these for criminal law for many years now and the solicitors are good and do the best to help you.Then started using them for Road traffic accidents and they are very good always reply fast to emails and get the claim sorted within 6 months. Very Fast. ++++

Since losing my Aunt, they have been talking care of all the legal affairs. Doing an excellent job. If the one thing they could improve, is a courtesy call every so often. But apart from that highly recommend
