I did a six week throwing course with Ros and it was wonderful, I learnt so much and it really fueled my passion for ceramics. I have continued to do the open studio and its lovely to have a space to continue to do a ceramics and be in an enviroment thats really supportive and really helps you learn and grow in ceramics. I cannot reccomend it enough!

Ros hosted a family session for 6 of us; some of us were visiting from Canada. The location and buildings are very inspiring, particularly being surrounded by artists and artistry of all different types. Ros’s studio is extremely well equipped and the instruction and time available were perfect for a bunch of novices! We had time to create two pieces each, including pots thrown on the wheel.I think we were all quite surprised how “professional” all of our pieces turned out, (in our eyes at least!) and that was no doubt due to Ros’s guidance and instructions that were very detailed, yet concise and easy to follow. Most of all, we had a really great time, a good laugh and enjoyed the 2 hours tremendously. Highly recommended for families, friends or as a team building exercise. Loved it! Thanks Ros!

Ros is an amazing teacher, and I love being in the studio. I've learnt so much, and doing open studio sessions with Alys is the highlight of my week! I would recommend doing the 6 week course to anyone, it's such an incredible grounding in pottery skills.

We had a brilliant night of pottery for our anniversary. Despite not being 'a natural' Ros was on hand to offer encouragement, advice and direction so in the end I managed to come away with a lovely plant pot and my other half, a vase (with feet!).Ros's ceramics are both beautiful and practical and we very much have designs on completing our set of tableware and adding to the butter dish <3

We absolutely loved our 2 hour introduction to pottery with Ros. From the minute we arrived it was such a welcoming, beautiful space. Her demonstrations were incredibly clear and easy to pick up. We were surprised at how confident we felt at the end of the session! It was also just so much fun. Ros is lovely and made us feel at ease throughout. We didn’t want the session to end and want even more time to explore pottery… so we will have to come back.

I attended the six-week beginners course and had such an amazing time. Ros is clearly super knowledgeable and skilled herself but also knows how to teach beginners whilst making it fun! The small group setting is great - a sociable and enjoyable environment to learn a new skill. It was great to take our pieces from start to finish. I can't wait to do more! Thank you!

Ros guided us through an incredible workshop and experience! Not only did she teach us about the different types of materials potters use to create, she also shared with us great tips and tricks to create our own masterpieces. Ros definitely made this a memorable moment!She also makes her own beautifully crafted ceramic kitchenware available for sale on her website!

Our team had a brilliant afternoon creating things with Ros! The space is tranquil and Ros was a great instructor, giving us loads of freedom to make whatever we wanted! We had such a range of items by the end, from incense stick holders to decorative plates and mugs. Having a go on the wheel was loads of fun too, and I can't wait to see our pieces when they are fired! Just a wonderful time!

I really enjoyed my first experience of throwing on the wheel. Ros was great at explaining and demonstrating the basics of throwing to us 4 beginners. She enabled us to do our own work whilst providing the right amount of support and encouragement so we all achieved pieces we felt proud of. We all made 2 pots which Ros will glaze and fire for us. I'll be back to do some more. Thanks Ros.

Fantastic studio, I've completed 2 courses and regularly attended open studio since January. Really friendly and supportive staff, we have a laugh and a great time being creative!
