I went as a couple on a Sunday friendly staff, no menu choice. Single dish only roast. No possibility to book only by phone or in person. I recommend perfecting the management of the venue. It's a shame to manage with so much competition around and so much choice.

Been going here for years. Wasn't anything special. It has however improved quite a bit recently. The new owner has spent some money on it, improving the toilets, tidying it up and increasing the amount of seating.I've not had food there but heard its pretty good. They have also improved the range on tap to include, Birra Moretti and £3.60 as well as Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze.The beer garden has also had money spent on it, with more seating and little alcoves built into the side of the wall for melore privacy etc.

Called in for the first time for Sunday lunch, the dinning room we was in was nice and bright only down fall was the room was cold, had a Sunday lunch looked nice but not enough for what we had and was just warm, I had to have my mother in law's food warmed up in the microwave! and had a small pot of gravy which wasn't enough for me asked for more and they wanted to charge for it! My miss has been there several times and said it has been better than what we had I think if they address little things it would be bang on, but don't think I will be rushing back soon? But please note this is only what I experienced that day.
