Lovely place! Food is great and really cheap and great protion sizes for the price! For 4 people :drinks and food cost £34!! Although only con was they forgot a few bits of our food eg:hash browns and coleslaw but that was all. Definitely recommend giving it a visit and there are 3 different claw machines for the kids £1 each!

Ordered a tandoori sizzler (one of the big plate specials) it was anything but a big plate. £12 and the portion size was awful. Didn’t come with the salad it described just a little lettuce and hardly any chicken.

Was not expecting much it was just convenient that it was a place and near where we were at the time but wow the food was amazing and not even too expensive so definitely would visit again the place was quiet and didn't seem like it had much staff due to this but can't fault the food 10/10 absolutely gorgeous food and dessert! I woul recommend the mix starter platter it was a lovely selection of everything and really nice.

Very disappointing range of ales. Choice of one weak one.Food was good, decent portions.Main meal plates were not cleared away, even when deserts arrived.Kid friendly and plenty of parking.

I visited a few days ago and the experience has stuck with me. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely. Big thanks to Isaac and josh for their hospitality and help

Carpark has plenty of parking no child spaces but has blue badge holder spaces available, there is an outside play area for children as well as outside tables, when arrives we hadn't booked a table and all tables had reserved signed allocated to them so we had to ask a table was available as time of reservation was an hour and half away always best to ask, take clean with menus available plenty of variety of food, placing orders is at the bar or through the Greene king app. Food arrived at the same time no waiting, although the children's meal burger the bun was over done and quite hard, called a member of staff over who promptly apologize and Wendy to the kitchen door a replacement bun. Over all though apart from that little miss hap the food was too a good standard and hot . Toilets were clean although no sink or urinal child size there is a disabled toilet also available

Update** Even worse! I was sent a voucher for the terrible service by their manager. I was pregnant and on holiday and asked how long would the £10 gift card last as there was no date given and it would be a while before we came down again, with no reply. Came 200 miles here today and they would NOT honour it! The manager herself would not take it and made excuses and even tried to give 33% off instead of the £10 off I was given. No end date on the coupon. Two bad experiences now. Absolutely ridiculous!Really really bad! The food had been sat around. The mash potato was solid and brown and had to be sent back, it came back still solid. The veg was dry from sitting around. Both my mother in law and father in law had the same thing and couldn't eat it. Ordered the candy mania but there was no cookie in it and they knew and charged us and didn't tell us. There was half the amount in there compared to the other peoples one we saw but we were charge full price. I would NOT recommend! No apologies for the missing parts of the dessert. Really bad.(Update) I emailed the Welby, after they commented below asking me to, they re-asked what was wrong in their email and then they never replied again after I emailed back.

Six of us went for a meal last Saturday evening. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was really good overall, however the chicken sizzler portion size is very small for one of the more expensive dishes, so was a little disappointed with that. The pub is in need of a refurbishment. Lots of chairs are very worn out and ripped and the place could definitely do with redecorating. But overall the food and the staff made it worth visiting.

My husband and I like eating at Hungry Horse pubs, we can always rely on good food and service. This particular pub was pretty good.The big drawback was the handicapped parking. Good spacious spaces placed on a slope...not easy to navigate when you get out of your vehicle on uneven ground. Then there were 5hree steps into the building. If there was a disabled entrance it wasn't clearly marked. We managed, but shouldn't have to.Otherwise, everything was great.
