Very close to high street and cathedral. Limited parking places. Hence fills up quickly. Sunday all day £2. Not worth parking more than 4 hours as price jumps a lot. Free after 7pm to 8am.

Gets you very close (1 min walk) to the town centre and about a 5 min walk to the cathedral. Limited spaces so might be full on busy days.

Very good experience, very busy and nearly full up due to nearby multi storey car park being closed.But they let you in as a car leaves, so no scrambling for a parking spot

Machine at the entrance/exit has a contactless reader.. bit pricey but it winchester... they seem to accept paying more for stuff.. exit kerbs are narrow and tall so lookout for those alloy wheels.

An excellent location if you can get a spot. Fairly comparable in price to others nearby by this one is closest to the landmarks. You won’t get closer to the cathedral than this.Recommend collecting your car before it gets dark - would benefit from some better lighting for improved security and visibility at night.Free for blue badge holders.Have a back up location in mind unless you arrive early.

Bit of a tricky one to find. Pricing as of July 2023 is now same as other car parks. Up to 4 hours £5.60. Over that it's £17. Charges apply 7 days a week. Cash only, unless use Ringo.Decent size bays though.

Changes to car parking charges are unclear and difficult to read. Wasn't sure if they had started yet or not. Also, not particularly well lit at night

Colebrook Street Car Park
It will be a long time, if ever, before I return to Winchester. Looking at photos, parking was FREE on Sundays only 3 years ago and £2 a day 2 years ago. Now it is £17 for the day (£6.60 up to 4 hours which is barely long enough). There is no Park&Ride on Sundays so this is clearly a blatant case of fleecing the motorist.
