Before I start this review I want to say how lovely the staff were, this review is not a reflection on them as they were beyond lovely and accommodating.With that out of the way, let's get into it.Firstly I was seated right next to the door, not sure what they can do about it, but every time that door opened on a cold winters day, you are feeling it. I had to put my coat on in the end.This could have been forgiven had the food been as amazing as the staff, alas that was not the case.I chose an item that I presumed could only be good as described as 'The famous VA Bennies' which was basically their take on an eggs Benedict.The eggs were slightly undercooked, you want a runny egg, but the white was also slightly runny. The hollandaise was tasteless too, definitely needs an overhaul.My son had a kids full English, he said it was nice, but he's 4 so can't really rely on his review.Such a shame as the place itself looks nice and the staff as I said were lovely.

Decent modern British cafe, there's plenty of seats, service is friendly, and brisk. There's a plenty of choice in the breakfast and brunch menu, prices are reasonable. Food is very good, it's a decent standard, the portion sizes are generous. It's not that busy before 5pm, it's busy at lunchtimes and the morning so reservations are recommended.

A beautiful afternoon spent at Vintage Ambiance with my sister. Beautiful setting and lovely staff always looking to provide the best service. Atmosphere was also very calming. Food was also AMAZING and would absolutely recommend it.

We didn't have a booking, and we were given a table. The atmosphere was lovely and quite busy for a lunch time. The service was second to none and very attentive. The prices are in keeping with other places. The food was divine. I'd go again and would highly recommend to others

Great brunch. Lovely staff. Came with a 1 year old, and they were super accommodating. Would recommend their pancakes. And hot chocolate.Good value, too. I got brunch loaded pancakes (pancakes with egg, bacon, and sausage patty, and maple syrup). It was so good and was about ten pounds.Highly recommend. Super chill.

Wow best breakfast place to go to, great food great chef great host, we didn't book and they still accommodated usEdit: some have been back and it's still great the food is amazing, the staff courteous and the owner is extremely friendly.

Lovely place for brunch. If only I could have a cocktail but had a 4-hr drive ahead of me. I had the VA breakfast, which was delicious. Service was great and staff were friendly. Was very busy for a Monday morning so seems very popular. They do ask if I had a reservation but I didn't. Can imagine it would be very busy. Highly recommended.

Lovely, quaint little cafe in Monton. Service comes with a smile and the food was enjoyed by all of us. They made a special effort for my birthday too which was cute.

We’ve been to this place a load of times over the years. Foods always been amazing. Last night we were enticed in by the live music. They quickly got us a table and took our order. There’s a load of cocktail options. I selected an old fashioned which tasted amazing. Unexpectedly we were also given free pretzels. Unfortunately we had to leave early but would have stayed longer.
