Dylan McBurney, Wedding Photographer in Ireland

Dylan shot our wedding at Belfast Castle in June and the photos turned out to be fantastic. He did the family group photos but most were natural shots of everyone just having a great time. He really did catch the best moments of the wedding day. He was also a pleasure to have at the wedding, he never stops smiling and the guests thought he was great!

Dylan was our wedding photographer in January 2012. From the very moment we met him we knew we had made the perfect decision! Having saw his photos from a friends wedding i knew we just had to have that photographer!! The photos were so natural but captured the atmosphere of the day. Getting married in January the last thing we wanted was to spend hours outside, in the cold, doing the typical 'staged' wedding photos! We wanted to enjoy our day with our guests from start to end and we knew this could be achieved with Dylan as our photographer! We didn't look any further than Dylan! On the day I can honestly say we totally forgot Dylan was even there! We just done our thing, enjoyed the day and Dylan captured it all! Perfect! We first saw our photos while on honeymoon in Oz! Sitting in a little cafe in Sydney! I was blown away with the photos! Every memory from the day complete in photographs! Over 3 years and 2 children later we look back at our wedding photographs with the fondest of memories and relive the day as if it was yesterday!!! Highly recommend Dylan to those couples who want to fully enjoy their day from start to end without the worry or stress of posing for photographs which don't capture the real atmosphere of the day at all!

Hiring Dylan was the first decision we made about our wedding and the absolute best. I knew our wedding photography was the one area we were going to splash out on in the budget and when I searched for wedding photographers in Northern Ireland I looked through what seemed like hundreds of photographers websites. As soon as I saw Dylan's website though I was in LOVE.I remember looking through all of his weddings and what struck me was how I didn't see the same photos in each one like I did on other photographers websites. Each picture was different from the next. No cliches - just beautiful, natural images of the people at the wedding.I went from loving the feeling in each photo to getting very emotional just from looking at other peoples wedding pictures!! I cannot tell you how many hours I spent being completely bowled over just looking through his work.As soon as I confirmed our date with the venue I booked him over the phone and when I met him a year later just before the wedding I felt so at ease. He was so friendly and easy to be around on the wedding day. When we had a dress drama fifteen minutes before we were supposed to leave for church he stayed so calm and was a picture of serenity. He blended right in and everyone just loved him. Just what you need when trying to deal with all the wedding day drama! :)Then we got our pictures and of course they are just amazing! There were so many amazing moments he has captured. It's so fantastic to have these moments preserved forever. Looking back at my 'wedding planning' stage it would have been crazy to have been married and not to have hired him. He was the best decision I made for my wedding (apart from my groom of course!!). I highly recommend him.

If you're wondering whether or not booking Dylan as your wedding photographer is a good idea, stop wondering. It's a great idea! Dylan did a fantastic job at our wedding in Lough Erne in November 2014. We knew Dylan from other friend's weddings but when we saw his portfolio we knew he was the right choice. We did not want staged photos, so Dylan's reportage style suited us to a tee. On the day itself he was extremely discrete and non-obtrusive: you hardly knew he was there at all!His photos were classy, technically excellent and the resulting album is of extreme quality, something we will always treasure. Dylan exceed any and all expectations we had for our wedding photos! His unique style truly captured the magic of our day and we are so lucky to have his amazing work to help us relive the memories.
